Komi Can’t Communicate, a manga that has had quite a good run and remained strong for almost ten years, has finally come to an end.
Yesterday, the final chapter of the series dropped.Komi Can’t CommunicateChapter 499 ended up being the very last one and shattered the hopes of the fans who were hoping for the manga to continue for one more week and end at 500 chapters. This last chapter is titled My Graduation Ceremony, Part 2. This chapter ended with Komi finally finishing school.

Sadly for fans who wanted to see more of Komi after her school life ended, nothing of the sort was shown in the chapter.
A Special Chapter Will Be Available with Physical Release
The Final Count Will Be 500 Chapters
Fans who wanted to see more of Komiand the others after they finished school shouldn’t be too disappointed, however, as a special final chapter, will be released with the publication of the physical copy of the last manga volume.
This last chapter, which will round up the series to 500 chapters, will most likely be an epilogue, showcasing Komi and the other characters as adults, and how their life goes after the end of the manga.

Fans will just have to wait for volume 37 to drop, which will be on March 18, for Japan, at least. The physical version will take longer to reach other countries, however, but by then, the chapter will easily be available online.
