Your weapon is your most valuable asset inLost Castle 2. A strong one can carry you through the adventure with minimal trouble, while a weak or unwieldy one will likely spell your doom by the first or second boss fight. But what if you didn’t have to choose just one? What if you could keep your current weapon and pick up another with better stats from a different category? Well, you can.
It took me a while to realize thatLost Castle 2actually lets you carry a secondary weapon. For a brief moment, this discovery made my adventure feel much easier—until I learned the hard way that having two weapons isn’t a guaranteed lifesaver. Still, if you’re a beginner like me and want to experiment with a dual-weapon setup, this guide covers everything you need to know aboutequipping multiple weapons.

How to Equip Two Weapons
To equip more than oneweapon inLost Castle 2, you need to unlock theWeapon Strap Hunter’s Gear. Once equipped, this item allows your character to carry and switch between two different weapons based on your preferences.
If you’re unsure which Hunter’s Gear to buy, it’s the first item on the left in the last row—Hunter’s Gear #7.

There are two different techniques for switching into your secondary weapon inLost Castle 2: Switching into attack andswitching into Weapon Skill. With the former, you perform a basic attack simultaneously as you switch. The latter, Switch into Skill, lets you perform your secondary weapon’s ultimate as you equip it.
The Best Weapon Duos
There are different approaches to building adual-weapon class inLost Castle 2. However, what you want to consider is the synergy between the weapons.
For example, having two long-range weapons, say, Bow and Musket, is not an ideal strategy as they both come with similar advantages and disadvantages. However, a high-contrast duo, like Dual Blades and Bow, can be much more advantageous because it would let you switch between two classes in different battle scenarios.

Is Having Two Weapons Worth It?
The Weapon Strap occupies your Hunter Gear, and that’s a hefty price to pay for an additional weapon. If you build your character properly inLost Castle 2, having a secondary weapon is mostly pointless. You’re going to want to use this slot for a utility or tech item like the Turret or HP Bottle.
Dedicating the Hunter’s Gear to a secondary weapon is justifiable in one scenario. If your team lacks a specialist player, and you’d like to compensate for their absence, you may pick their specialty as your secondary weapon to support the team. For instance, if you need an assassin in boss fights, you can pick the Dual Blades as your secondary to switch into this class when necessary, while keeping your primary class for the rest of the game.
