A newMario Kartis the first game Nintendo has confirmed for the Switch 2, though it was shown only briefly during the console’s announcement trailer. Since the announcement, fans have been analyzing theMario KartSwitch 2 trailer for potential clues about what the new game will bring to the table.

Fans have already figured out quite a few interesting details about the newMario Kartgame based on the Switch 2 reveal trailer. One of the most notable is that it seems as thoughMario Karton Switch 2 will support 24-player races. Based on my own observations and convincing screens shared by Bluesky user Sylverstone Khandr, it seems theSwitch 2 reveal trailerconfirms at least 22 racers for the newMario Kartgame. Not all the racers can be seen 100% clearly, and so it’s possible some of these are off, but it looks like Baby Daisy, Baby Luigi, Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Daisy, Donkey Kong, King Boo, Koopa Troopa, Luigi, Mario, Pauline, Peach, Rosalina, Shy Guy, Toad, Toadette, Waluigi, Wario, and Yoshi are all on deck for the newMario Karton Switch 2.

SinceMario Karton Switch 2seemingly supports 24-player races, one has to imagine that there are at least two more racers that can be seen in the footage. The claim has been made that there are a couple of Koopalings in the trailer, but I haven’t been able to spot them myself. Hopefully, a clearer trailer for the newMario Kartwill clue fans in on who else might be making an appearance in the new racing game.

Unfortunately, it may be a few months before fans get more details on the newMario Kart. Nintendo has confirmed that aNintendo Direct will take place on April 2, where it will fully pull the curtain back on the Switch 2. Presumably,Mario Kartwill be a launch title for the device and will have a significant presence at the event, but time will tell on that front.
