The latestMarvel Rivalsupdate has finally dropped, and it’s come with a brand new Spring Festival where you can play a new mode to earn some free rewards. However, like other events in the game, it’s only going to be around for a limited time — so you need to hop in and start playing soon if you want to grab all the skins, nameplates, sprays, and more.
There are a series of tiers you’re able to complete by collecting paint through various missions. So, here’s how the new game mode works, what missions are available, and how you can work through the various tiers to unlock all rewards in theMarvel RivalsSpring Festival.
How Does The Fortune & Colors Event Work?
The Fortune and Colors event inMarvel Rivalsis part of the Spring Festival celebration, which has brought with it a brand new game mode and new rewards to unlock. Some of thelimited-time cosmeticscan only be accessed in the store, but others can be earned for freethrough the new game modeand festival specific challenges. The eventstarted on July 23, 2025, and will rununtil June 24, 2025.
Completing challenges and finishing the event missions will reward players with anew currency, Danqing. This is a “magical dye” that you can use on the blank painting on the event page to unlock the different tiers of rewards. You’ll also get the currency by playing in the new game mode,Clash of Dancing Lions.
Clash Of Dancing Lions Game Mode & Missions
Clash of Dancing Lions is a3v3 formatwhere you canchoose to play Iron Fist, Black Widow, or Star-Lord. You’ll load into a map that looks like asoccer field, and you’ll need to capture the ball and try to get it through the goal until you get to 12 points (or the timer runs out).
You’ll still have some abilities at your disposal while in this game mode, butno one will be able to take or deal damage. Instead, you’ll use abilities likeStar-Lord’s Blaster Barrage, to knock the ball out of the enemy’s hands. You’ll also be able to pass the ball to your teammates or simply kick it forward to get it away from their goal point.
Right now, there are only a few missions and challenges available that you can complete to earn Danqing, but new ones will also arrive later on during the event. Here are the current missions and challenges you can complete for Danqing:
Complete three Clash of Dancing Lions matches
100 Danqing
Score 1 point in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match
40 Danqing
Intercept the ball three times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match
Complete 10 matches
25 Danqing and 80 Chrono Tokens
Secure 50 assists
Defeat 50 enemies
Complete a 4 KO streak as The Punisher, Star-Lord, Scarlet Witch, or Black Widow
verify to keep an eye out for the new challenges that will appear throughout the event in the missions tab. From here, you’ll be able to see what you need to do to earn more Danqing — and some Chrono Tokens as well. Once you have enough of the event currency, you’ll be able to unlock all 10 of the free rewards.
