All Invisible Woman Abilities in Marvel Rivals

Invisible Womanhas a variety of abilities which make herone of the most difficult Strategiststo dive into, but also help her get very aggressive and enable her team to push forward and defend. These abilities are not particularly easy to master, which is evident in her four-star difficulty rating, but she can easily turn the tide of fights when you learn how to use them to support your team.

Her Ultimate, for example, creates a large field where allies can enter to become completely invisible and receive healing over time. While this is a great defensive ability, it’s most effective when used to push into the enemy team and turn their strategy into chaos. Invisible Woman is also one of the Strategists with the best self-defense in her ability to turn invisible and completely push enemies away from her (or even off the map). Here are all of her abilities in more detail:

Tips and Tricks for Playing Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals

Invisible Woman can be tricky because she has so many abilities which allow her to turn the tide of fights single-handedly and make sure that her teammates stay alive while under fire. The main trick you’ll need to learn with her is to understand when to be aggressive and when to pull out of a fight, and also understand the delicate balance of her abilities which can determine these conditions.

Even though she has great potential for protecting herself, it’s also important to remember that you never want to get too aggressive with her. She doesn’t do particularly well when in the thick of a fight because of her relatively low health pool, and you could find that you’re dying too quickly to effectively support your team if your positioning is not ideal. On the other hand, though, you also don’t want to stay too far away, because Orb Projection doesn’t have an incredibly long range. Here are some tips to keep in mind when choosing Sue Storm:

Don’t Leave Your Shield Up Indefinitely

Guardian Shield is a strong ability that allows The Invisible Woman to provide support for allies who are tanking too much damage. It doesn’t only protect them from that incoming damage but also heals any allies that are standing near it and is the only other healing ability Sue Storm hasoutside of her Ultimateand primary fire. As such, it’s useful to ensure that someone can survive if your normal attack isn’t enough to keep them up.

However, the most important thing to consider with your Guardian Shield is that its cooldown changes depending on how much damage it has taken. For example, a full shield will have no cooldown, and you can place it again immediately, whereas a depleted shield will take 6 seconds to regenerate before you can place it again. As such, it’s much better to pick your shield up before it can get destroyed - as it’s a lot more useful to place it quickly when someone needs a boost or some health, rather than leaving it up to protect teammates for extended periods of time.

Focus On Groups

Invisible Woman’s primary fire, Orb Projection, travels through enemies and allies alike up to two times. This is because she shoots her orbs out once, and instead of disappearing into an ally or enemy like other ammo, they return to her. As such, the best way to get the most effective healing and damage out with Sue Storm is to shoot her primary attack into groups of enemies, or at the very least, in a line where you can hit both allies and enemies at the same time.

Psionic Vortex is also an extremely useful ability to ensure that you can get this value out from Orb Projection attacks. The Vortex draws enemies in and continuously damages them, so it ensures that you can quickly take them down by pulling them out of position - and this also helps your teammates quickly take down anyone who is trying to move away from the fight.

Know When to Use Your Ultimate

The introduction of Sue Storm also included the introduction of one of the strongest Strategist Ultimates in the game. The force field that she places not only heals her allies and makes them invisible, but slows enemies who walk into it and hides them from their own teammates. As a result, you’re able to create a situation where your team has the upper hand completely, which is only really seenwith ultimates like Luna Snow’sotherwise.

As such, it’s also not something you want to go to waste. There are a few times when it’s good to use, but they all come when most of your team is alive - so make sure that you’re not using it to save yourself, or when most of your team is down. Otherwise, you can use it to protect your team from enemy Ultimates or other abilities and cut off their sightline completely. Additionally, you can also combo her ultimate withallies like Doctor Strangeto make sure that they are protected while casting and can get maximum value from it.

Combo Your Abilities

The best way to get value out of Invisible Woman’s abilities is to combo them. This applies to herself and teammates - so, for example, you may want to use Force Physics to pull enemies back into your Psionic Vortex when they try and get away, or you’re able to pull them into an area of effect when your ally is using their Ultimate ability. Force Physics is also a great ability to simply push enemies off the map, or push them away from you when you’regetting overwhelmed by flankers.

Using a combo also applies in these cases where you’re in danger. you may throw down Psionic Vortex to pull enemies like Spider-Man out of position, and then quickly use your Veiled Step to go invisible and reposition closer to your team or simply heal up before finishing the enemy off. This can take a bit of practice, though, so ensure you spend some time in theMarvel Rivalstraining grounds before hopping into a match so you have a better idea of Invisible Woman’s range and the combos she can pull off.
