NetEase Games has announced a new patch for the popular hero shooter, which will arrive on February 6 at 1 AM PST. This update includes multiple bug fixes for the game’s popular heroes and villains. For instance,Moon Knight’s ultimate inMarvel Rivalswill now correctly display a visual cue on the ground, alerting nearby players that the ability is about to go off. Unfortunately, many fans believe Moon Knight’s ultimate is also incorrectly dealing double damage, but there’s no mention of that in the patch notes. However, the fixed animation should at least give players a better chance of avoiding the attack altogether.

The patch notes also mentionMagneto’s ultimate inMarvel Rivals, which has come under scrutiny by a large portion of the community. NetEase Games has fixed an issue where Meteor M would sometimes fail to absorb Iron Man’s ultimate attack. While this is welcome news to some gamers, they have still expressed that the ability needs further changes. Many fans are asking that the developers remove the damage cap on the ability, allowing it to absorb all incoming attacks for the entire duration of its animation. At present, Meteor M is nullified after absorbing too much damage.

The upcoming patch also includes new cosmetics forMarvel Rivals' Captain America and Luna Snow, which will be released on February 7. Luna Snow’s Mirae 2099 outfit has a futuristic look, sporting bright pink and purple colors along with stylish headphones. Captain America is wearing his iconic outfit fromAvengers: Infinity War, which features more subdued tones than his usually bright red, white, and blue costume. There’s no word on just how much these new cosmetics will cost, but many fans are excited to see them come to the game’s shop.
