Bullseye has joinedMarvel SNAP’s roster with mixed reviews: Some think he’s doing OK, while others call him a waste of key. This three-Cost, three-Power Activate card discards all one- or zero-Cost cards from your hand and afflicts the same number of enemy cards with -2 Power. While the ability might sound promising on paper, the affliction side is underwhelming, making it more worthwhile to focus on his discard potential.
One highlight of Bullseye’s release is his strong synergy with Daken, a previously overlooked card that deserves more recognition. Bullseye has created an opportunity for Daken to reenter the spotlight and find a place inMarvel SNAP’s metagame. It shows that not every new card needs to disrupt the meta; some, like Bullseye, can revitalize older characters that have been overshadowed. The Best Deck for Bullseye
Given his discard-oriented ability, Bullseye is a perfect addition toa discard shell with Daken and Arnim Zola. You can build a consistent deck around this trio by having them team up with the following cards: Scorn, Blade, Swarm, Morbius, Dracula, MODOK, Apocalypse, Ravonna Renslayer, and Colleen Wing.

How to Counter Bullseye
Bullseye’sActivate ability is challenging to counter. For direct responses, Red Guardian is a solid option. To counter Bullseye’s strategy, focus on two priorities: 1) Protecting your cards from negative Power using Luke Cage, and 2) Overloading the enemy’s hand with junk via cards like Master Mold.
When filling your opponent’s hand, ensure the junk cards you send aren’t one-Cost. Otherwise, you risk helping them by providing fodder for Bullseye’s discard effect.
Is Bullseye Worth It?
If you enjoythe discard archetype, Bullseye is a great addition to your collection. He also fits well in hybrid discard-affliction or Surfer-affliction setups. Outside of these shells, however, Bullseye is fairly average, with some unwanted RNG due to his random affliction targets.
With a Series Drop on the horizon, consider saving your resources if you’re running low. Waiting could give you access to more impactful meta options. That said, if you already have a deck where Bullseye can shine, he’s worth the investment.
