Minecrafthas been known to release many different types of DLCs through the many years that the game has been out. Some of these DLCs range from Sonic to Mario, to Disney, and now it has officially welcomed a brand new mainstream character that many know and love; Hello Kitty.
This new DLC brands forth a new adorable world withinMinecraftthat has Hello Kitty and her friends all together. Once a player creates a world within this DLC, they will be greeted with characters like Kumori, My Melody, and more from within the Sanrio world. Not only that, but they will be introduced into aStardew Valley-like game.
How Does Hello Kitty DLC Work?
Before players can enter into theHello Kitty and FriendsDLC world, they will have to purchase it from withinthe marketplace inMinecraft. It’ll cost players about 10 US dollars to purchase it, and then just a couple of minutes to install everything the game needs to be ready to be played. Next, players can go to create a new world and select theHello Kitty and FriendsDLC. Once they have entered the new world, they will be placed inside their new farmhouse, and upon walking out the door, they will be greeted by Hello Kitty herself.
Hello Kitty will then explain to the player how to play, which includes walking them through all the included locations within the world, including the town, marketplace, barn, farm, and mine, and showing off a few of the other pretty locations within the world. Once players finish the walk-through, Hello Kitty will give the players seeds, which they can start planting in their farming plots. Once the lettuce is done growing, players can sell it toHello Kitty from the marketplace in townfor gems. These can then be used to purchase new crops or farm animals.
As the player explores more about the world, they will meet more characters fromHello Kitty, and soon they will need to complete different quests for them, which could include getting materials from the farm for them or helping them fix something that is broken. The game is noticeablya lot like a good old farming sim.
While the player continues to play, earning more gems, they will also be able to purchase furniture from Hello Kitty’s market, as well as have the chance to get a vehicle that is a bit rarer to be available in the store. Players will also unlock blueprints as they progress to upgrade their houses along the way.
