Mission: Yozakura Familyfans will soon have more content to enjoy, as a new novel has been announced!
This will be the third novel for the franchise. The first one came out in July 2023, and the second in April 2024 — they feature small extra chapters that are not essential to the main plot, but add to the story and its characters.
The novel is titledHifumi to Alpha no Seichou Kiroku-hen(something likeGrowth Records of Hifumi and Alpha), and it’sset for release on May 13, 2025. Denki Eido,the author of the two other novels, is also penning this one.
Yozakura Family Recently Ended in Shonen Jump
Yozakura Familyended serialization a few weeks ago. While it wasnot a flagship titleforShonen Jump, it has a solid story, and its ending has been generally well-received.
This is in contrast to bigger series, likeJujutsu KaisenandMy Hero Academia, which have a larger fanbase, but whose endings were met with many complaints from fans.
When Will The Final Volume Be Out?
The manga concluded last Sunday, and the final volume will also be published on March 4. It seemsShonen Jumpis trying a new strategy of releasing new content alongside the conclusion of the series. It might mean they have plans to keep producing content for the series.
Also, it’s common for compiled volumes, especially the final ones, to have additional content, so there’s a possibility it will feature a new epilogue or something like that.
