Even though Scopely keeps adding new minigames to the roster, there are currently seven exciting minigames inMonopoly GO. The following guide ranks all of them from the least to most enjoyable.
Peg-E Prize Drop
Prize Drop is the first of many games hosted by Mr. M’s robot, Peg-E. Peg-E Prize Drop is similar to a pinball machine, where players drop Peg-E tokens from the top of the screen, and they bounce off pegs and bumpers before landing in slots at the bottom. The goal is to land the tokens in the highest-value slots to earn more points.
As players earn points, they progress through milestones given in the bar below. Each milestone unlocks a reward, such as cash prizes, sticker packs, dice rolls, and evenWild Stickers. All in all, Prize Drop is a rewarding game of chance, and the anticipation of where the token drops keeps players engaged till the end.
Peg-E Sticker Drop
Sticker Drop is another one of Peg-E’s minigames and is pretty similar to Prize Drop. Instead of regular prizes, Sticker Drop focuses on collecting stickers for your album. Like Prize Drop, Sticker Drop uses Peg-E chips, which players can earn by completingdaily Quick Winsor hitting milestones in events.
Sticker Drop follows the same rules as Prize Drop, but the rewards include sticker packs of varying rarities. Keeping this in mind, the Sticker Drop minigame is an absolute must-play when you’re focused on completing your sticker album and need rare stickers.
Peg-E Juggle Jam
Juggle Jam is another fun minigame hosted by Peg-E. It’s one of the newer minigames but has quickly become a fan favorite. In Juggle Jam, Peg-E presents you with a sequence of colored balls. Your task is to guess the correct order they should be placed in. For each correct guess, you earn Carnival Tickets. These tickets can be exchanged for different rewards in the Carnival Store, right above Peg-E’s head.
You need Carnival Tokens to playJuggle Jam inMonopoly GO. These tokens can be earned through various in-game activities like completing Quick Wins or participating in events. Each guess costs one Carnival Token. Juggle Jam adds a bit of brain-teasing fun to Monopoly GO and provides a chance to earn valuable rewards, like safes and flash events.
Partner Events
Partner Events are one of the first co-op minigames inMonopoly GO. These are special events where you’re able to partner up with yourMonopoly GOfriendsto build four attractions on the board. Partner Events usually occur monthly and have a particular theme, such as a popular holiday or festival. Each player contributes to the partners’ build by collecting unique tokens and spinning the event wheel. Upon reaching milestones, both partners unlock rewards.
Partner Events inMonopoly GOare amazing because they foster a sense of community within theMonopoly GOplayer base by encouraging players to communicate and collaborate with each other. They also come with an exclusive board token as the grand prize and are the perfect way to grow yourMonopoly GOtokens collection.
Tycoon Racers
Tycoon Racersis another thrilling team-based minigame, where collaboration is key to victory. You team up with three other players to form a team of four and compete against other teams in a series of races around theMonopoly GOboard. To participate in races, you need to collect Flag tokens. These tokens can be earned through various in-game activities like completing Quick Wins or landing on special Flag tiles on the board.
Collected Flags activate a special dice popper, allowing your team to roll multiple dice simultaneously and race across the board. Teams are ranked based on their performance in the races. Top-ranking teams receive exclusive rewards like cash, special tokens, and bragging rights. Tycoon Racers injects a dose of friendly competition and strategic teamwork intoMonopoly GO.
Treasure Hunts
Treasure Dig eventsare one of the most loved minigames inMonopoly GO. These are exciting limited-time events where players head out on a virtual treasure hunt. Players earn special “Pickaxe” tokens through different activities, such as completing Daily Quick Wins, event milestones, and opening free gifts in the shop.
Using the collected Pickaxes, players “dig” into a grid of tiles. Each tile reveals a hidden piece of the treasure item. The goal is to dig out all the pieces and complete a set of treasures. Once a player collects all the pieces of a specific treasure set, they unlock a unique reward, often themed to the event. These Treasure Hunts add a whole other layer of excitement and anticipation toMonopoly GO.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club is a fairly new minigame inMonopoly GO. It’s a unique and exciting social event that brings players together on a shared quest. You join forces with eight other players to form a team. The team then works together to progress through a series of challenges and levels within a themed adventure.
As the team completes objectives and milestones, everyone earns rewards, such as exclusive items, cash, and special boosters. EachAdventure Club eventhas a distinct theme, adding a layer of excitement to the plain old board game.
