Naruto’s New 4 Episodes
They Will be Supervised by Kishimoto
Masashi Kishimoto is the mangaka of the famous and iconic seriesNaruto. The Naruto anime ended years ago, however, there are plans underway of making four new episodes for the series.
Currently, not much is known about these episodes, as the project for them has been postponed and no official release date has been revealed so far.
All that fans really know is that the story will take place beforeNaruto: Shippuden, so when Naruto and the others were still kids,and Sasuke was still on the team.
That story will be in Kakashi’s absence, and Naruto becomesthe temporary leader of Team 7.
It was revealed that this episode will be supervised by Kishimoto, which is definitely great news and means the episodes are in good hands and might even potentially be considered canon.
The quality of anime projects is always noticeably better whenever the original author is included, as it allows their vision for the series to be unbesmirched.
When Will The New Episodes of Naruto Be Released?
For now, it’s unknown when these episodes will be out. The project itself was announced a few years ago, but nothing has come out yet.

It’s important to note that Studio Pierrotwill be at Anime Japan 2025to reveal new projects. There, they might reveal new information about these episodes, such as the release date. Anime Japan 2025 will take place in March, between the 22nd and 23rd. Fans can look forward to more information being revealed there, as well as the other projects that might get released.
While waiting for the new Naruto content to be released, fans of the series can, in the meanwhile, re-explore the series by rewatching the anime or rereading the manga. The Naruto anime is available on Crunchyroll, while the Naruto manga can be found on Manga Plus.
