A Seinen Manga That Fans Who Love Mature Content Will Love
Go to Gois the title of one of the newest series that is set to debut this year. This manga is set to begin serialization in the Weekly Young Magazine Issue 9/2025, this issue will be out on the 27th of January, 2025, which is next Monday.
Mangas published in this magazine are weekly, and fallunder the seinen demographic category. This means darker themes and mature content can be depicted, more so than the typical Shonen.

This manga, titledGo To Go,will be about a strategy board game known as Go.
This manga is the work of Hasuo Touto and Nakazato Haruna. The premise follows a boy that is talented at everything he does, until he tries Go, where he sees defeat. After being reintroduced to the game in high school, he sets his goals on overtaking the Go prodigies.
What’s interesting about this manga is that it’s supported by the Nihon Ki-in, or the Japanese Go Association. It will even be supervised by some professional Go players, meaning this is going to be a very intricately written series for those looking to delve deeper into this game.
What is Go?
Go is an ancient board game, believed by some to be the most ancient one to still be played, having been played over 2500 years ago. The game is especially popular to play in countries in East Asia, such as Japan, China, and Korea. The game is played by two people, with the goal of capturing the other’s territory. The game requires experience and wits.
Go has been showcased many times in mangas and anime, one example being in Hunter x Hunter during the Chimera Ant Arc where fans encounter the character of Komugi, the most talented Go player in the series, who’s even able to defeat in Gothe most perfect being in that universe, Meruem.
There was even another manga wholly dedicated to Go before this one, known as Hikaru no Go.
Either way, this manga, if it becomes popular, will be able to bring new players into Go and make it even more popular.
