Oda has lately been revealing a ton of lore about the Roger pirates inOne Piece.
One of the wings of the former Pirate King, Scopper Gaban, has been showcased inOne Piece1139. This changes the powerscaling in theOne Pieceworld completely, specifically for how fans see the Monster Trio.

Oda Introduced Gaban, Roger and Rayleigh’s Equal
One Piece 1139 has introduced a massively important character, one that used to be on the Roger Pirates. That character is none other than Scopper Gaban. This isn’t the first time fans see Scopper Gaban in the story, as he was first introduced in Buggy’s flashback decades ago, but this is the first time he is seen in the current timeline.
Scopper currently lives in Elbaf, where he had a child with Ripley, a giant woman. Upon his new introduction, he was referred to asbeing on par with Roger and Rayleigh, and he was also referred to as a pirate rivaling Rayleigh himself.
What Oda is clearly saying here is that these three monsters from the Roger Pirates, Gol D. Rogers, Silvers Rayleigh, and Scopper Gaban, are all comparable in power.
What This Means for the Straw Hat Pirates
The Straw Hat pirates mirror the Roger Pirates in many ways, and in this case, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, will all be on par with each other by the end of the series, just like Roger, Rayleigh and Gaban were.
If Oda is to reveal that Scopper Gaban also has Conqueror’s Haki, that would mean that it’s more than likely that Sanji will also have it, as he is Sanji’s mirror character from the Roger Pirates.
Scopper’s character, in general, is huge for Sanjiand what it means for his future in One Piece.
