InOne Piece, the Clan of D. is a group of characters that all possess a D. in their name as their middle initial. This entire group is mainly said to be the “Natural Enemy of God,” and will be instrumental in changing the political landscape in the world ofOne Piece. In other words, this group of people, in some way, will overthrowOne Piece’sWorld Government, taking the World Nobles out of power. Due to this, the World Government has been careful to keep many members of this clan hidden away from the site, attempting to erase the clan’s name from existence.

So far, only 15 characters in all ofOne Piecehave been confirmed to be members of the D. clan. Firstly, Gol D. Roger, his wife Portgas D. Rogue, and their son, Portgas D. Ace are all members of the group. Additionally, the Monkey family is as well, withthe protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon, and Garp all possessing the title. The Nefartiti clan, with Lili, Cobra, and Vivi also join the ranks of this group. Finally, Marshall D. Teach, Jaguar D. Saul, Trafalgar Water D. Law, Clou D. Clover, his unnamed brother, and Rocks D. Xebec round out the rest of the D. Clan revealed so far.

However, as is the case with the World Government attempting to erase Gol D. Rogers D. Clan’s status from history by calling him Gold Roger, many fans believe that hidden D. clan members lurk within the realms ofthe world ofOne Piece. Firstly, some fans speculate that the members of the D. Clan could extend to every member of kingdoms that chose to rebel against the World Government. Although the leaders of a place likeOne Piece’sAlabasta are D. Clan members, the entire kingdom may also be hiding far more members of the clan among its ordinary citizens.
Additionally, some believe that the Kozuki Clan could also possess the Will of the D. and be a part of the D. Clan. Specifically, characters like Momonosuke and Oden, who possess abilities likethe “Voice of All Things,”share an eerie resemblance to current members of the D. Clan. These characters fit the bill in terms of rebellious spirit and personality, though their effects onOne Piece’sWorld Government have been low thus far.

Finally, some fans believe that the D. Clan is composed of various races of people that were wiped from history duringOne Piece’sVoid Century, and only have a few representatives left. Clan out there who simply forgot their title after generations since the Void Century.

In the end, while the series has stated that there are secret members of theD. Clan inOne Piece, it’s nearly impossible to tell just how many characters can join their ranks. However, if any of these speculations prove to be true, there may be many more members than most fans had previously anticipated. By the end ofOne Piece, hopefully, more D. Clan members will be revealed, adding to the incredibly small roster of characters.
