The Elbaf arc ofOne Piececontinues to raise the heat and fans are incredibly excited to see new powerful characters make their presence known week after week. to fight a strong pirate crew, such as the Straw Hat Pirates, and along with them, mighty Giants of the country of Elbaf, the opposition, that is, the Holy Knights, need strong fighters that are capable of taking on the likes of the Yonko, and it is safe to say that Oda might already have introduced a powerful Yonko tier female character who goes by the name of Gunko, a member of the mighty Holy Knights.
Gunko And Her Powers
Gunko is an incredibly powerful character, and this was clear to the fans right from the get-go. Together with Shamrock, Gunko serves in the Holy Knights, a powerful order of the Celestial Dragons strong enough to protect Marijoa and with authority greater than that of the Marines of the World Government.

Gunko was the first of the two to show her powers. She wields the ability of the Aro Aro no Mi, which is believed to be a very mighty Paramecia Devil Fruit. This Devil Fruit was first seen being utilized by her against the two Giant guards of Elbaf, who were defending the castle. Gunko then went on to attack them, using her arrows and tying them around the limbs of one giant causing him to collapse in pain. This was the fans' first look at Gunko’s true strength, with more following immediately when she stepped foot in the Underworld of the country.
Upon her meeting with Loki, Gunko was approached by his pet wolf, known to be a ferocious beast capable of wreaking havoc. This is a beast comparable to the ones that Luffy needed to develop Gear 4 to injure, and possibly even stronger. As such, Gunko taking down that beast, and along with it, all the others in the Underworld effortlessly all by herself goes to show that she’s a true monster. But, of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her powers.
A proper demonstration of Gunko’s powers was given to the fans inOne Piecechapter 1137, and it is safe to say that the author explained a ton of information pertaining to how Gunko’s powers work, how strong she is, and what level of fighter she is when at her best.
Why A Case Can Be Made For Gunko To Be Admiral And Yonko Tier
Gunko Could Damage Loki With And Without The Chains
Fans got to see a proper display of Gunko inOne Piecechapter 1137, where she was able to damage Loki greatly. Loki was seen bleeding heavily from all of Gunko’s attacks, and Oda made sure to properly demonstrate to the fans how Gunko’s abilities work. Essentially, Gunko can use the arrows in a plethora of ways. She is seen wrapping them around her legs to give her a larger foothold, and more reach while fighting. Then, fans saw her ability to launch unavoidable kicks. Essentially,Gunko’s arrows allow her to draw a trajectory of her attacks. The enemies can clearly see what attacks she will launch and how. Yet, they cannot dodge them. According to Gunko, the arrows’ trajectory represent her future, but it is unavoidable, which means that only she can stop it. Loki was bloodied with a barrage of such attacks and, in the end, completely passed out.
Of course, Loki was in sea prism stone chains, so he most definitely couldn’t use Haki or any other power to protect himself. However, the big distinction comes through a statement made by Shamrock, the captain of the Holy Knights. When Loki stated that he was only being beaten because of his chains, Shamrock corrected him, saying that even if he were free, the result wouldn’t be any different. This is a statement that indicates the power level of Gunko. According to Shamrock Gunko is so strong that even if Loki was free, he wouldn’t have been able to save himself from all the damage she’s capable of. Clearly,the Holy Knights currently in Elbafare incredibly powerful and strong enough to match Loki in combat.
The fact that Gunko would’ve been able to handle Loki, a man worth 2.6 billion berries and a special bounty, is proof of the fact that she is at least strong enough to hold her own against him in battle. If Shamrock’s statement is serious, then Gunko is a fighter on the same level as the Admirals of the One Piece world, who themselves have a bounty of 3 billion berries.
How Strong Are The Holy Knights Really?
The Holy Knights Could Be Admiral Tier Or Higher
It is difficult to say how strong the Holy Knights are exactly. One thing that is clear, however, is that all of them have higher authority than the Marines,including the Fleet Admiral Sakazuki. On top of that, what is clear already is that the Holy Knights are a worthy match for the Revolutionary Army, according to Dragon. Garling, their previous leader, is an Elder tier fighter, while Shamrock himself should be strong enough to fight Yonko. Gunko and the others need to be at least as strong as the Admirals if they are to be strong enough to hold their own against the Revolutionary Army’s sheer force, and on top of that, justify having authority greater than the Admirals.

Above all, it is the Holy Knightswho the World Governmenthave now trusted with the mission of defeating the strongest race in the world and bringing them under their own control, despite knowing how strong Loki is, and on top of that, knowing Luffy’s level of strength. This is a clear indicator of the fact that she’s incredibly powerful.
