The Elbaf arc ofOne Pieceis officially underway and finally, the exploration part of the arc seems like it’s wrapped up. Elbaf enjoyed quite an exciting start, but it was also quite weird in that it had no outright villain from the get-go. Of course, Oda was taking things slow, like usual, and now, it seems that the setup has finally started paying off.
One Piecehas now officially introduced fans to the main villains of the Elbaf arc of the story, and in doing so, revealeda mighty Yonko Level characterto the fans whose strength surpasses the vast majority of villains that Oda has depicted in the series so far. As many fans would’ve guessed already, this character is none other than Shamrock Figarland, known to be a mighty fighter and a knight of the highest order in the entire world.
The Final Saga And The Strong Character Reveals
The Final Saga of One Piece is absolutely massive and Oda himself has hyped up this part of the story to be the most intense, and at the same time, the most exciting part of the story. Oda has previously desperately wanted to draw the final saga, but the time it would’ve taken for the story to officially get there was a big concern for him.
When I was a kid, I thought to myself: Man I would love to draw a manga with the most hyped final stage! I wonder if I’m up to it! Now, we have only a tiny bit of Wano arc left, the preparations are almost done. Took me 25 years LOL. Now, however, One Piece has begun the final saga, with Elbaf being the second official arc in the safat. The final saga introduced fans to quite a lot of intriguing powers, such as the demonic abilities of the Five Elders, among other things. However, the most exciting character reveals have come through one family in particular — the Figarland family of Marijoa. The Figarland family is quite a mystery and their origins are unknown at this point in the story. What fans know, however, is that this family is one of the strongest in the series, and right now, quite easily the strongest family in the whole world.The first confirmed member of the Figarland family was Garling, and shortly after, fans found out that Shanks was a member of this family as well, and Garling’s own son.

Curiously enough, Oda also teased the existence of another Figarland in the story, although much about his identity was hidden. This chapter was confirmed to be Shanks’s twin brother, Shamrock Figarland, and was officially revealed to the fans inOne Piecechapter 1137.
As the story entered the Elbaf arc and continued developing, it became increasingly clear that the Holy Knights would be the main antagonistic group here and that Shanks’s twin brother, Shamrock was going to be the character who would oppose Luffy.
As for the manga, we’ve finally arrived in Elbaf! It’s a laid-back kingdom, but the serenity is about to be shattered by the arrival of a particular man! Meanwhile, there will be tumult in other seas as well! And at last, that one guy will begin shaking up the world! Take a deep breath now, because soon you may not be able to come up for air! Shamrock Figarland Is The Latest Character To Be Emperor Level
Shamrock Figarland Leads The Holy Knights
As confirmed inOne Piecechapter 1137, the World Government is hell-bent on taking Elbaf under their control. To that end, they sent two strong members of the Holy Knights to Elbaf and hoped that they would secure Loki’s position within the knightly order. Had they succeeded in doing so, Elbaf would automatically have fallen into the hands of the Government. This is simply because Loki is the prince of all Giants, andhis power is too great for anyone in Elbaf to contend with. This is the same plan that Big Mom wanted to utilize to take the Giants under her wing. A marriage pact between Lola and Loki would’ve meant she had access to the Giant race and this would’ve made her the Pirate King. Unfortunately for her, this didn’t materialize.
While the idea behind the operation is interesting in itself, what is also clear is that Shamrock is a phenomenally powerful individual. The fact that the Government sent him to deal with Loki and Elbaf is proof of the fact that he’s a mighty powerful fighter. On top of that, he is the leader of the Holy Knights. Had Loki joined the Holy Knights, he would still be below Shamrock even with a 2.6 billion berry bounty, which clearly elevates Shamrock to an individual with 3 billion+ berries status. Above all, Shamrock is the brother of Shanks, one of the Yonko, and the son of Garling Figarland, the man who established a name for himself at God Valley, where monsters like Roger, Rocks, Garp, and Whitebeard fought. Based on everything that Oda has revealed about Shamrock so far, and the fact that he’sthe main antagonist for Elbaf, where he will inevitably go on to fight against Luffy, it is clear that he’s strong as an Emperor.
The Full Power Of Shamrock Figarland
Shamrock Will Be A Haki User Of All Three Types
One of the easiest predictions that will most certainly come true about Shamrock is that he will have access to all the Haki types. Shamrock will be a capable user of Supreme King Haki, given that he’s royalty,and a member of the Figarland family. Shanks, his brother, is a Haki master, and Shamrock himself won’t be any less powerful. It also makes sense for Shamrock to be a powerful Haki user for Luffy to learn from and grow while fighting.
As has already been established by Oda, Luffy usually learns concepts while fighting. Right now, what Luffy needs most of all is a boost to his Supreme King Haki. Clearly,Shamrock’s Haki being tremendously powerfulwould help Luffy accomplish that. While Oda hasn’t shown what exactly his skill set is, what is clear is that Shamrock is no less than an Emperor in One Piece and that he will turn out to be a massively overpowered fighter.
