The Elbaf arc ofOne Piececontinues with great intensity and fans finally have the main conflict of the arc set up by Oda in front of them. At the beginning of the arc, it was rather unclear as to whoLuffy and the Straw Hat Pirateswould be fighting. However, now, with the recent developments that have been taking place in Elbaf, it is clear for the fans to see that Elbaf has a very competent enemy group for the Straw Hats to face and that is none other than the Holy Knights.
One Piecechapter 1137 specifically confirmed to the fans that the Elbaf Giants are now in danger, as the members of the Holy Knights intended to crush them and bring them into the fold by force. Undoubtedly, a massive war is being set up in the Elbaf arc of One Piece, and fans can’t be more excited to see what Shamrock Figarland and his Holy Knights have in store for Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates.
Shamrock Figarland Has Officially Declared War On Elbaf
One Piece’sElbaf arc started heating up when Oda gave the readers a glimpse of the enemies appearing in Elbaf. Just a few chapters into the arc, fans could see two mysterious individuals showing up in the country, spawning right inside the Aurust Castle of Elbaf. A summoning circle, the likes of which was seen by the fans in the Egghead Arc, was shown here too, and two hooded characters started making their way out. It was clear to see that one of them resembled Shanks, while the other appeared to be a mysterious woman covered in bandages. It wasn’t long until fans found out the name of the latter to be Gunko, and her ability to be that of the Aro Aro no Mi, using which she threatened the Giant guards and got Intel on Loki.
In the Underworld of Elbaf, things moved at a much greater pace. The Holy Knights clearly made their intentions known, and it was revealed to the fans that their goal was to recruit Loki for the position of a Holy Knight, making him a Celestial Dragon in the process. Loki, enamored by the Sun God, would never have accepted this offer, which is why he incurred their wrath. Gunko launched a barrage of attacks on him using her mighty Aro Aro no Mi, only to see him refuse every time. Effectively, the two gave up on trying to get him to join the Holy Knights, and this is where the true goal of the Government was revealed.
Why would I willingly become scum like you? — Loki
Essentially, the World Government seek Loki because through him, they’ll gain access to a powerful force of warriors. Loki is the prince of the Giants and if he’s installed on the throne, then Elbaf would effectively fall into the hands of the World Government. Their force is such that they conquered the New World long ago into the past. Furthermore, even Big Mom believed that she would’ve become the Pirate King had Elbaf allied with her, beating even Whitebeard in the process. Clearly, the strength of the Giants is craved by the Government, and they will have it in one way or another.
The one leadingthis whole mission is Shamrock Figarland, who fans know to be Shanks’s elder twin brother, and Garling’s firstborn child. Shamrock is tremendously powerful, as he leads the Holy Knights, and he is now using his authority to seize Elbaf by force.
As for the manga, we’ve finally arrived in Elbaf! It’s a laid-back kingdom, but the serenity is about to be shattered by the arrival of a particular man! Meanwhile, there will be tumult in other seas as well! And at last, that one guy will begin shaking up the world! Take a deep breath now, because soon you may not be able to come up for air! The Holy Knights Might Be Headed To The Country Of Elbaf
Shamrock Has Decided To Take Elbaf By Force
In One Piece chapter 1137, it was clear for the fans to see that the Holy Knights were simply not able to convince Loki to join them, which is why they changed their strategy. Shamrock immediately made contact with the World Government, and he wants to take the country by force. Given that he doesn’t have the strength to beat all of Elbaf by himself, he is likely going to ask for backup to take the country with war.
This is going to be a chaotic event that fans will absolutely loveto see unfold in the Final Saga, and it sets the basis for more members of the Holy Knights showing up in Elbaf. Given that the Supreme Commander of the Holy Knights is contacting Marijoa, the Marines are unlikely to be called into action here, at least for now. The main goal would be to get Shamrock’s own men into Elbaf and take things from there.

Luffy Will Have To Crush Shamrock To Progress
Elbaf will prove to be the biggest challenge for Luffyand the Straw Hat Pirates, potentially even bigger than Wano. Back then, Luffy and the crew were clear underdogs, but here, they’ll have to stand like true leaders. Regardless, fans know for a fact that Shamrock will prove to be a tougher enemy than Kaido for Luffy to beat, and it appears that the likes of Gunko are also clearly close to Admirals in terms of power. The other members of the Holy Knights, if they do make it Elbaf, will be just as monstrous, and they will make life for the Elbaf Giants incredibly difficult.
Given that the World Government wants to claim Elbaf, they might even send the Ancient Weapon Uranus to blow Elbaf to bits in case the country refuses to bend. Either way, things are going to be incredibly exciting, and fans absolutely cannot waitto see what Elbaf has in storefor them as Oda continues to take fans on this massive journey.
