Roronoa Zoro has always been an exciting character to follow inOne Pieceand in the Final Saga, fans are expecting the best of him. So far, Egghead has already given fans Zoro’s exciting battle against Rob Lucci, and now that the story is in the Elbaf arc, fans know for sure that the Straw Hat Swordsman is going to encounter bigger enemies and take down them to attain more power and fame, and most importantly, prepare himself for the incredible battle against Mihawk that is to come.
With Elbaf having continued for quite some time already, fans are eagerly waiting to see Zoro in action, and it appears that Oda has already set up his first major fight in Elbaf.
Zoro’s Big Fight In Elbaf
Zoro is yet to engage in any major fight in the Elbaf arc so far. But, fans know that this isn’t going to be the case for long. Zoro is usually driven by combat and his thirst to get stronger, which means that in a country or warriors where mighty individuals exist, Zoro is going to thrive, undoubtedly. Elbaf’s rather surprising and peaceful start is also one of the biggest reasons why Zoro is yet to exchange blows with anyone. That said, the exploratory part of the arc is now almost over and fans know that a storm is to follow soon. Elbaf is going to be absolutely massive for the fans, promising major battles against monstrously powerful antagonists. As it happens, two of those antagonists have already made their presence known in the country, and fans can’t wait to see them engage in combatwith the Straw Hat Pirates.

These two antagonists are the Shanks look-alike, and with him, a mysterious bandaged woman named Gunko. Both of these characters are believed to be members of the Holy Knights, which is an order of the World Government tasked with the protection of the Celestial Dragons as well as carrying out judicial duty there as well. Above all, they’re monsters in combat, such that even Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army ofOne Piece, is wary of their presence.

Oda had already established a pathway for Luffy and Zoro to fight against the Holy Knights. The first thing that fans need to keep in mind is that the Holy Knights are specifically aiming for Loki. They made their goal known immediately after appearing in the land of the Giants. While the Giants they enquired about Loki from didn’t reveal the location of Loki, it is likely that they will eventually give his location away, or the two members of the Holy Knights will likely find Loki on their own. When that happens, fans will definitely get to see Loki being confronted by the Holy Knights for whatever purpose they’re seeking him for.

In the meanwhile, fans also know that Loki will not stay in chains forever and there is a certain individual who is planning to free him. This person isnone other than Yonko, Straw Hat Luffy. Back during their last meeting, Loki implied that he had information to give to Luffy about Red Hair Shanks. In exchange, he wanted Luffy to free him. This is likely going to be the very exchange that takes place around the time the Holy Knights approach Loki.
Luffy will likely steal the key, potentially making use of Nami, while Zoro could make his way down the Underworld with him, given that there are two enemies to fight.
This is precisely where Luffy will come face to face with the Shanks look-alike, and it is highly likely that they’ll go on to clash once Luffy realizes who this person is. At the same time, if Loki isn’t entirely grateful tothe Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro could also trade blows with him, but he’s likely to come out second best in that affair, especially since this clash won’t be an all-out one.
As for Zoro’s battle against the Holy Knights woman, it is unlikely that he’s going to win this clash right here. The reason for that is quite simple. It is way too early for the Holy Knights to fall in combat and if they do, it’ll likely happen at the end of the arc, if at all. Zoro being the Holy Knights right now doesn’t make much sense. But, that certainly doesn’t mean he won’t go on to test his powers against her.As the Elbaf arc continues, fans will likely see more powerful enemies show up, with potentially an Ancient Weapon being utilized by the World Government as well. Zoro’s main responsibilities will come much later down the line when actual battles finally begin. For now, Zoro will get to enjoy his first small battle in Elbaf, where he will fight against the Bandaged Woman, as Luffy, his captain and the stronger one of the two, takes on the Shanks look-alike. With Elbaf’s beginning setting the standards very high, Elbaf’s main battles are going to be stunning for the fans to witness, whenever they end up happening.
