InPalworld, Pals have attributes called Passive Skills, which provide them with buffs and debuffs. The game features over a hundred different creatures called Pals that you can catch and explore the world with. Depending on their work suitability, Pals can assist with various tasks, such as mining, logging, and watering. With the right Passive Skills, a Pal can become significantly more efficient at its job.
There are many types ofPassive Skills inPalworld, but among them, Rainbow Passive Pal Skills are the rarest. While a few Rainbow Passives are exclusive to specific Pals—such as Bellanoir’s Siren of the Void and Xenoguard’s Invader—others have a tiny chance of appearing on all Pals.

Since Rainbow Passives are highly sought after, many players wonder how to obtain them in Palworld. This guide provides a complete list of Rainbow Passive Skills and the best methods to acquire them.

The other three Exclusive skills are only available on Pals hatched from eggs dropped by Ultra Raid bosses.
As for the non-exclusive Rainbow Passive Skills, they have an extremely low chance of appearing on a Pal.

Once you find a Pal with a Rainbow Passive Skill, you can breed it with other Pals to pass down the skill. Below, we discuss the best ways to obtain non-exclusive Rainbow Passive Skills inPalworld.
Palworld: Best Way to Get Rainbow Passive Skills
Every Pal has an extremely low chance of possessing Rainbow Passive Skills. While the exact probability is unknown, players may need to capture hundreds of Pals before encountering one with this skill—unless they get lucky. Aside from Rainbow Passives, a Pal can also have anywhere between one and four Passive Skills from a pool of over 70 unique skills, which further reduces the chances of obtaining rare skills.
Here are some efficient ways to increase your chances of obtaining a Pal with Rainbow Passive Skills:
1) Capturing Low-Level Pals
The best way to get Rainbow Passives is by capturing low-level Pals in starter regions where they spawn in large numbers. If you have progressed inPalworld, returning to the starter island can be a great way to begin your hunt. Players at level 30 or above are recommended to visit Gobfin’s Turf.
Gobfin’s Turf is arguably the best location for farming new Passive Skills inPalworld. It features a flat terrain whereGobfinsspawn in groups of 3-4. Endgame players can craft a Scatter Sphere Launcher and use multiple Giga Spheres or Mega Spheres to capture multiple Gobfins at once.
Here are some additional tips to improve your farming efficiency:
2) Dr. Brawn
Dr. Brawnis a mysterious NPC who has an extremely low chance of appearing at random spots across the Palpagos Islands. He can replace or add a new Passive Skill to a Pal once per day, but finding him is far from easy.
Dr. Brawn has a small chance to spawn at special incident locations. Here are some coordinates near fast travel points where he might appear:
To increase your chances of finding Dr. Brawn, travel between two of these coordinates until he spawns. Once located, summon your Pal and interact with him to assign a random Passive Skill. Note that he may also increase or decrease a Pal’s stats, depending on whether the skill is positive or negative.
Dr. Brawn is a level 50 NPC. Like other humans inPalworld, he can be captured, though due to his high level, you may need anUltimate Sphere. If captured, you may bring him to your base, allowing him to perform surgery daily until he grants a Pal the Rainbow Passive Skill you are looking for.
3) Breeding Pals with No Skills
Another method is tobreed two Palsthat have no Passive Skills, hoping their offspring will inherit the Rainbow Passive Skill. If two Pals have Passive Skills, their offspring are highly likely to inherit the same set of skills. However, breeding Pals without any Passive Skills increases the chance of their offspring obtaining random abilities, including the rare and valuable Demon God. You can use two Pals with the Philanthropist Passive Skill, which increases breeding speed by 100%. This will help produce eggs faster.
You can rotate between these three strategies to maximize your chances of obtaining Rainbow Passive Skills. However, acquiring them relies heavily on RNG, and it may take many hours of farming. Once you finally obtain a Rainbow Passive Pal, you can breed it with others to pass down the skill.
Once you have a Pal with a Rainbow Passive Skill, try passing it down to aYakumoand condensing that Yakumo to enhance its Partner Skill, Birds of a Feather. At max level, Yakumo has a 30% chance to encounter Pals that share its Passive Skill.
This means that if you have a Yakumo with the Demon God Passive Skill, you will have a much higher chance of encountering Demon God Pals.
