Summary

APokemonfan has recently created their unique take on a possible Ghost-type Eeveelution, as well as a shiny variant. Eevee is one of the most popular critters in thePokemonfranchise, and this prompts the community to come up with many fan artworks imagining new evolutions for this adorable Normal-type Pokemon.

Eevee was originally introduced inthe first generation ofPokemongames. At the time, the monster was unique not only due to its cute looks, but for evolving into three different creatures: the Fire-type Flareon, the Water-type Vaporeon, and the Electric-type Jolteon. New generations brought even more Eeveelutions to the table, including the Dark-type Umbreon and the Psychic-type Espeon during Gen 2, the Ice-type Glaceon and the Grass-type Leafeon during Gen 4, and finally the Fairy-type Sylveon in Gen 6. Unfortunately, no more new official Eeveelutions have appeared since then.

Now, aPokemonfan called Ech0mega has created a new Ghost-type Eeveelution called Spectreon, which comes in both normal and shiny versions. This new artwork resembles an Egyptian cat mummy with grey skin, big white eyes, and a tail whose point sparks, emitting a glowing purple light. The shiny version of Spectreon has blue skin, and it has a light green spark on the tail. This artwork was beloved by manyPokemonfans, and the community gave over 2,200 upvotes for Ech0mega’s design.

Pokemon Fan’s Ghost-Type Eeveelution

Countless fans create fan art based on Eeveelutions, and Ghost-type evolutions seem like a pretty prevalent theme recently. Last year, for example, one fan designedanother Ghost-type Eeveelution called Halluceon. This form resembled a large white cat wearing a bone mask and had some purple details on its ears and tail.

Another stunning artwork shared with thePokemoncommunity recently was theGhost-type Eeveelution called Reapeon. As the name implies, the creation was somewhat inspired by the Grim Reaper. The critter had purple skin, very long ears, and a spectral mane adorning its neck.

A fourthartist devised a Ghost/Fairy-type Eeveelution, which was cute instead of scary. In this design, the fan imagined a cute white creature that looked like some kind of spectral Eevee. To make the monster even cuter, the artist added skull-shaped earrings and a colorful scarf to the little Eeveelution. Hopefully, another official Eeveelution will appear in the franchise soon, but even if that does not happen, the fanbase will likely keep creating its own iterations of this popular concept.
