Eevee has always been one of the most popular creatures in thePokemonworld for many reasons, and one artistic member of the community has designed their own unofficial Eeveelution which deviates a little from the many similar designs often shared by fans. A classic critter from as far back as the Gen 1 games and even a mascot of thePokemonfranchise alongside Pikachu, Eevee’s popularity, undeniable cuteness, and uniquely broad evolutionary family has kept it a fan favorite since 1996.
It’s no surprise, then, thatPokemonfans have been continually designing their very own custom Eeveelutions across the decades. Fan art is particularly prevalent among the artistically-potentPokemoncommunity, and while all kinds offanmade Pokemon redesignscan often be found online, completely original Mega Pokemon, Paradox Pokemon, and regional variant designs remain extremely popular as well. Whatever the case, there’s no doubting that Eevee tends to get far more attention from creative fans than most other members of the National Pokedex.
This remains to be the case to this day, with one artist known online as KikiMongoose- recently sharing the newest iteration of their Eeveelution design, which is actually aNormal-type Pokemon. They have named their latest creation Ordinareon, with its species designation being the Fluffy Mane Pokemon. This absolutely beautiful Pokemon design borrows many design aspects from its evolutionary predecessor, including the same brown and cream-white colors, while featuring an even fluffier mane which flows into the Pokemon’s bushy tail. If this were an official Pokemon to be found in the games, Eevee would evolve into this form at level 25, according to the artist behind the design.
A Normal-Type Eeveelution is Awesome, But Unlikely To Ever Happen Officially
Of course, evolving into this form would require the Eevee in question not to know any Fairy-type moves, nor be at maximum friendship. If any of these conditions were met, then the Pokemon would evolve into one of its other several Eeveelutions, whichPokemonenthusiasts are already well-acquainted with. The interesting thing about this particular fan art, apart from the gorgeous design itself, is that it’s a Normal-type Eeveelution, a divergence from mostEevee-related Pokemon fan art, which tends to envision what Eeveelutions would look like if they used some of the many other types that exist in the franchise.
With Eevee already capable of evolving into eight different forms, the last of which was introduced in the Gen 6 games over a decade ago, many fans agree that Eevee isn’t likely to receive another official Eeveelution any time soon, if ever. That said, there still remains a decent amount of speculation and discussion among thePokemoncommunity regarding the possibility of new Eevee formsin the future, and considering the number of surprises the franchise has come out with across each generation, the idea can never be truly ruled out.
