InPokemonlore, the Legendary Pokemon Black and White Kyurem result in the fusion of Kyurem with either Zekrom or Reshiram. While the latter two have already been added toPokemon GO, fans have long waited for their fusions to debut in-game as well. Fortunately for players, developer Niantic recently confirmed that Black and White Kyurem are coming to the AR title duringPokemon GO’s upcoming GO Tour: Unova eventon March 1 and 2. Now, a recent leak teases that both powerful monsters might come with special Adventure Effects that could be particularly useful for catching Pokemon.
According to a newleak from Pokeminers,Pokemon GOis adding two Adventure Effects named “Ice Burn” and “Freeze Shock.” The first will reportedly be linked to White Kyurem and the second to Black Kyurem.Adventure Effects inPokemon GOare abilities activated by certain Pokemon that give players special temporary bonuses. Per the leak, using Ice Burn would slow down the target ring during Pokemon encounters for a limited time, making it easier to make Great or Excellent throws. Conversely, Freeze Shock would completely paralyze a Pokemon, restraining them from knocking back a Pokeball or moving around the screen during encounters. It seems both Adventure Effects would come in handy when catching troublesome Pokemon.
Pokemon GO Leak Reveals New Adventure Effects for Black and White Kyurem
Aside from the new Adventure Effects, the leak also teased a mysterious “Lucky Trinket” item. This object would let players become Lucky Friends with another user instantly, as long as they are already Great Friends or higher. The effect is time-limited, though, and can only last for a few hours. Even when two players have been Best Friends for a long time,achieving Lucky Friends status inPokemon GOis still rare, so an item that would guarantee Lucky trades can be quite practical.
While the GO Tour: Unova event is still months away, another popular Galar monster is debuting soon. The evolution line for Corviknight is making its way to the game on January 21 duringPokemon GO’s Steely Resolve event. Five-star Raids will feature Deoxys and Dialga as well. Finally,Pokemon GOannounced Dynamax versions of the Legendary Bird Trio from January 20 to February 3, so players should seize the chance to participate in their Max Raids.
