The new Five-Star Tera Raid battles will begin just days afterAlolan Exeggutor was featured as a Tera raid boss. Both Scream Tail and Iron Bundle are classified as Paradox Pokemon, with the former exclusive toPokemon Scarletand the latter toPokemon Violet. Scream Tail bears a striking resemblance to Jigglypuff, and has high defenses and HP statistics to compliment its Psychic and Fairy typing. By comparison, Iron Bundle is a robotic version of Delibird and is an Ice and Water dual-type Pokemon with high speed and special attack power. Normally, both Scream Tail and Iron Bundle can be found in Area Zero in their respective versions.

To close out January,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwill host another Five-Star Tera Raid event for trainers to test their mettle. According to Serebii.net, the Paradox Tera Raids against Scream Tail and Iron Bundle will start on Thursday, January 23, at 7:00 PM, and end on Sunday, January 26, at 6:59 PM Eastern. The event will only last one weekend, soPokemontrainers will have just 72 hours to participate. The Scream Tail and Iron Bundle battles will be the firstParadox Tera Raid event since May 2024, when Iron Thorns and Sandy Shocks were featured. Scream Tail and Iron Bundle will have various Tera types at their disposal, but will come with their respective abilities, Protosynthesis and Quark Drive.Pokemon Scarletplayers will encounter Scream Tail, andPokemon Violetplayers will face Iron Bundle.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announce Paradox Tera Raids (Late January 2025)

In battle, Scream Tail can use moves like Play Rough, Psychic Fangs, and Hyper Voice to deal serious damage, while Iron Bundle will likely use attacks such as Ice Beam, Flip Turn, and Drill Peck. While this will be the first time that Scream Tail will be a Tera Raid boss inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, the same can’t be said for Iron Bundle. In December 2023, aSeven-Star Tera Raid event featuring Iron Bundle the Unrivaledgave trainers a chance to catch a level 100 version of the robotic Paradox Pokemon.
