Kindergarten Wars began serializationon Shonen Jump+ in September 2022. It started as part of Jump+’s rookie program, but eventually, Shueisha decided to turn it into a full-fledged series. So far, the series has released 17 volumes, and more are likely on the way. Kindergarten Wars' performance in terms of sales has been commendable. According to reports, Kindergarten Wars has sold more than 1.7 million copies. While it may be as high as other Jump regulars, it is important to remember that Kindergarten Wars has no anime adaptation. If it receives a high-quality anime adaptation, these numbers will increase significantly.
Kindergarten Wars is set in Kindergarten Noir, known to be the safest kindergarten in the world. Due to this reason, politicians, celebrities, and businessmen send their kids to Kindergarten Noir. What makes the facility so secure is the presence of former criminals who work diligently for a shorter prison sentence.
