Now that January 2025 is coming to an end, so too are itsPS PlusEssential games. However, that also means February 2025’s PS Plus titles are just around the corner. As per usual, next month’s PS Plus Essential titles will be announced on the last Wednesday of the current month (January 29), after which they will be made available on the following Tuesday (February 4). As such, while these games have yet to be revealed, there are several titles that would make excellent additions to the lineup, based on current trends and upcoming titles.
PS Plus Wish List for February 2025: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2making its way to PS Plus Essential in February 2025 is definitely more of a dream than it is a practical hope, but there is nonetheless a justifiable reason to wish for the sequel to one of the best superhero games ever made to be added to the service. While its story has been rather divisive among fans, it still succeeds at refining the combat and traversal of the first game, to the point that going back to play the firstMarvel’s Spider-Mancan feel like somewhat of a slog at times. So long as players are able to appreciate the direction ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2’s story, particularly in its portrayal of Venom and the continued arc of Peter Parker, the sequel would make a worthy addition to PS Plus in February 2025.

While it is still a rather niche game due to its realistic and somewhat inaccessible approach to gameplay,Kingdom Come: Deliverancewould be a great addition to February 2025’s PS Plus lineup, simply on account of the release of its sequel on February 4. More or less,Kingdom Come: Deliveranceis a medieval simthat puts players smack-dab in the middle of the history of that time, and while its combat and other systems have been acknowledged as a bit too challenging at times, its embrace of realism is a key part of its charm and the quality that makes it unique in the RPG genre. It isn’t required reading forKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, as the sequel is a standalone experience that could be considered more of a remake than anything else. However, those who would like to get a glimpse of the sequel before shelling out money for it could benefit fromKingdom Come: Deliverancebeing added to PS Plus Essential in February 2025.

LikeMarvel’s Spider-Man 2,Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris yet another sequel that proved to be rather divisive after its release. Even so, its refined gameplay and expanded exploration make it an experience worth having, especially forStar Warsfans. Since theStar Wars Jediseries has largely gone radio silent since the release ofJedi: Survivor, February 2025 might be a good time for it to be added to PS Plus Essential, simply to keep the series on everyone’s radar until the third installment arrives, if nothing else. Finally, due to its rocky launch, many fans might have either given up on it quickly or never picked it up, so if it were added toPS Plus in February, they might have a chance to rectify that.
