Initially announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2003,Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kingsunderwent a long spell of developmental trouble that ultimately resulted in its cancelation. To recoup its losses as much as possible, developer LucasArts launched the game’s externally-contracted PS2, PSP, Wii, and DS ports in 2009, all of which had dissimilar campaigns and gameplay.
Odd history aside, trophy hunters will be happy to know thatIndiana Jones and the Staff of Kingsoffers 21 trophies,including a platinum, on PS4 and PS5. The trophy list itself appears fairly straightforward, but those looking to secure the platinum will likely have to be careful with the artifact trophies, since they can be easy to miss. Overall,Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kingslooks to be on theeasier side in terms of platinum trophy difficulty.
The addition ofIndiana Jones and the Staff of Kingsto PS Plus Premium also seems a bit deliberately timed, as MachineGames’Indiana Jones and The Great Circleis slated for a PS5 releasejust a few months out in spring 2025.
