Heavy spoilers ahead forRed Dead Redemption 2
Being an outlaw in 1899 was a difficult business indeed, and not everyone is going to make it out to see the sunrise. WithRed Dead Redemption 2, there are some truly tragic deaths, and players will only have memories to carry them forward, along with a few graves that they can visit so that they can pay their respects to those who were lost along the way.

The Van der Linde gang suffers many losses throughoutRed Dead Redemption 2, and if players feel like paying their respects to each of them, or simply want to obtain the Paying Respects achievement, then they are going to need to know every grave location inRed Dead Redemption 2.
The graves mentioned will be listed in order of appearance
9Jenny Kirk
Location: Spider Gorge, North of Colter, Grizzlies West, in Ambarino
Jenny Kirk was one of the youngest women to ride with the Van der Linde gang, and one who unfortunately didn’t make it. Jenny died just before the events ofRed Dead Redemption 2after injuries sustained during a shootout in the Blackwater botched ferry job of 1899.
Jenny Kirk was laid to rest just North of the gang’s first hideout in Colter, where she can be found among the trees in Spider Gorgein the Grizzlies Westarea of Ambarino with a cross gravestone with her name etched into the wood with a knife.
8Davey Callander
Location: Small graveyard in Colter, Grizzlies West, Ambarino
The Callander boys were brothers who rode with the Van der Linde gang, but Mac was captured after the botched ferry job before the events ofRed Dead Redemption 2, whereas Davey sustained fatal injuries that he would succumb to beforethe Van der Linde gangeven made it to Colter.
As such, Davey’s grave can be found in Colter’s abandoned graveyard, where a cemetery features other tombstones, but only one is made from rocks and a wooden board that has Davey Callander etched into it for those who want to pay their respect to this outlaw.
7Sean Macguire
Location: North of Clemens Point outlooking Flat Iron Lake in the state of Lemoyne
Described as Arthur Morgan’s annoying little brother, Sean Macguire was murdered from behind during an ambush in Rhodes by the Gray family. Sean’s death was instant due to a gunshot wound sustained in the head, and afterclearing Rhodes outof Grays, Bill Williamson was tasked with burying him.
Sean has a quiet and nice grave, located West of Southfield Flats, overlooking the beauty of the Flat Iron Lake. His grave is marked with a wooden cross and stones to cover the burial site, and the tree above him always keeps him at peace and in the shade.
6Kieran Duffy
The world was entirely cruel to Kieran Duffy, a young man who rode with the wrong people in search of a better life. Kieran had an affinity for horses, but his ties with the O’Driscolls and the Van der Linde gang would eventually see his end, as the O’Driscolls would kidnap him in Shady Belle for betraying them, and he meta gruesome endthat he did not deserve.
Kieran’s eyes were gouged out, and his head decapitated. As a result, his body was in no condition to be seen, and the Van der Linde gang would later bury him West of Shady Belle in an open field, marked with a wooden board and a dig site for the boy to finally rest.
5Hosea Matthews
Location: East of Lakay in Bluewater Marsh, Lemoyne
The closest friend and only voice that Dutch Van der Linde would ever listen to is that of Hosea Matthews, an older man who rode with Dutch from the beginning. After a botched bank robbery job in Saint Denis, Hosea is captured and executed by Agent Milton of the Pinkertons, killing Hosea slowly with a gunshot to the chest.
Hosea’s grave can befound in the Bluewater Marsh, East of Lakay, marked under the shade of a tree alongside a close friend. Hosea’s one request when he died was to be buried alongside friends and those he loved, and it seemed he got his wish within his final resting spot.
4Lenny Summers
Poor Lenny Summers, a young man with a bright future, marked down by an evolving world who just didn’t want outlaws anymore. Lenny Summers was killed during the escape from Saint Denis after the failed bank robbery, and his body had to beleft behindin the escape after his murder at the hands of lawmen.
Lenny Summers has an identical grave to Hosea Matthews, and the two friends were buried alongside each other under the shady tree within the Bluewater Marsh of Lemoyne, away from civilization, and at peace.
3Eagle Flies
Location: South of Wapiti Indian Reservation overlooking Donner Falls, Grizzlies East, Ambarino
Eagle Flies was a young man, misguided by Dutch Van der Linde and further enraged by the U.S. Government’s treatment of his people. Eagle Flies and his people were located in the Wapiti Indian Reservation, but the abuse from the U.S. Army didn’t stop there, and his rage led to his death from Colonel Favours, leaving behind his father, Rains Fall.
Eagle Flies rests now just South of the Wapiti Indian Reservation, overlooking the waterfall at Donner Falls. Players can find his grave marked by a broken stick in the ground with his bandanna wrapped around it, flowing freely in the windamong nature.
2Susan Grimshaw
Location: South West of Elysian Pool, Roanoke Ridge, in New Hanover
Every camp needs a Susan Grimshaw – a woman so stern and strict that she becomes the hand of justice that keeps everything tidy and everyone in place. Despite her loyalty to the Van der Linde gang and her commitment to doing the right thing, she is ultimately killed in a standoff by Micah Bell after trying to halt the confrontation between the Van der Linde gang, John Marston, and Arthur Morgan.
Susan didn’t deserve to die in a distracted mess among the Pinkertons, and Charles Smith took her body and buried her just South West of Elysian Pool on a cliff near Roanoke Ridge in New Hanover. Her grave is marked with a gross, with her necklace paired on top.
1Arthur Morgan
Location: North East of Bacchus Bridge, on a cliff facing the sun in Grizzlies East, Ambarino
The protagonist ofRed Dead Redemption 2, Arthur Morgan, lost his life due to his terminal illness of tuberculosis, which Arthur was infected by due to a fight with Thomas Downes, a debtor who owed the Van der Linde gang some money. Arthur’s tale of redemption leads to his eventual death, where if he has High Honor, he takes his final breath on a cliffside, watching the last sunrise, knowing he had saved John, Abigail, and Jack.
Charles Smith finds Arthur’s body and decides to bury him somewhere high on the cliffs in Ambarino, where Arthur’s grave can overlook the sunset and sunrise, with the hopes that Arthur has moved on knowing that in the end, he was a good man.
