Continuing this trend, the company has just announced thatForza Horizon 5will be coming to the PS5.

TheForzaseries' PlayStation debut may be followed byHaloandGears of War, according to Microsoft insider Jez Corden, who said as much in a January 30 tweet. On the subject ofHalo, Corden believes thatThe Master Chief Collectionwill be the first installment in the franchise to make its way to Sony’s ecosystem. This possibility was already raised by a mid-January 2025 report from serial leaker NateTheHate, who claimed thatHalo: The Master Chief Collectionis coming to both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Many More Xbox Games Are Reportedly Going Multi-Platform in 2025
Many Xbox fans have long consideredHaloandForzato be two of Microsoft’s three flagship franchises, with the third one beingGears of War. Corden recently claimed thatGears of War: Ultimate Editionis on its way to the PS5as well. Additionally, the insider identifiedSenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2andAge of Mythology Retoldas another two first-party Xbox games that he heard were being ported to Sony’s current-gen console. Meanwhile, NateTheHate recently reported thatMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2024is going multi-platform as well. All of these franchises are said to be coming to non-Xbox platforms sometime in 2025.
