Deadline reported thatMark Consuelos was cast inScream 7.Consuelos is best known for co-hostingLive With Kelly and Markalongside Kelly Ripa, who is his wife. However, he has also appeared in several movies and TV shows. Some of his recent roles include Biff de la Peña onThe Girls on the Bus,Mabel Mora’s (Selena Gomez) father onOnly Murders in the Building,Hiram Lodge onRiverdale, andSpivey in five episodes ofthe shocking seasonAmerican Horror Story:Asylum.

As Deadline noted, there areno details available about which character Consuelos will portray inScream 7. He joins several high-profile cast members such asPitch Perfectstar Anna Camp,Communitystar Joel McHale, and Mckenna Grace, who has acted in a variety of movies includingAnnabelle Comes Home, the two recentGhostbusterssequels, andMalignant. As fans assume every time there is an exciting new cast announcement, it’s a mysterywhetherConsuelos will portray an evil or good character. It’s also interesting to note that the cast ofScream 7is fairly large and includes a handful of legacy actors along with new people. Although it seemed likeScream 6might have too many cast members, it ultimately worked in the movie’s favor since it was hard to guess who Ghostface could be.

While Consuelos has appeared in several recent TV series,he hasn’t appeared in a movie for a decade. He played Ian Cox in the 2016 fantasy comedy movieNine Lives.He also starred in the 2016 dramaAll We Had, which Katie Holmes starred in and also directed.
