Should Detective Wallace Come Back For Scream 7?

There’s always the chance that a returning side character could be the killer. However, in this case, that wouldn’t make sense. Wallace doesn’t appear to have any reason to get revenge on Sidney or the other characters.
Both of these are good ideas. It’s always fun to see a familiar face, and if Detective Wallace wasthe opening kill inScream 7, that would be both nostalgic and terrifying. Maybe he could visit Sidney and then find Ghostface instead, which would be a terrifying scene. However, it would also be great to see Wallace, who has a witty and funny personality, be part of Sidney’s family life. Maybe Wallace,Detective Mark Kincaid (Patrick Dempsey), and Sidney bonded over Ghostface inScream 3.And, now that Kincaid and Sidney are married, the three have become good friends. Sidney doesn’t suffer fools, and Wallace seems like the kind of clever person who she would be pals with.
SinceScreamisn’t known for being a genuinely scary franchise,it’s necessary to have at least one hilarious character in each movie. Wallace has a no-nonsense personality that works well with Sidney’s brave and tough approach to life. After losing so many great characters like Dewey Riley (David Arquette), it would be nice to see Wallace come back.

AlthoughScream 7should feature more deathssince Scream 6 didn’t kill a lot of characters, it would be great if Wallace not only came back but also survived. Sidney has mourned enough good friends and relatives. She should feel some hope… until, ifScream 8is greenlit, she is hunted by Ghostface all over again.
