Themovie is set to debut on March 14 in Japan, and a brand-new trailer was released– it previews the theme song,“Hana Musou”, by Aina the End. The film will drop on Netflix later. Check it out:
When Is Mononoke: Ashes of Rage Coming to Netflix?
While Netflix hasn’t officially announced a release date for this movie, it is possible to attempt to estimate when it will be released on the service based on the first movie.
Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rainpremiered in Japanese theaters on July 05, 2025, but it only debuted globally on Netflix on June 02, 2025– four months later. Ifthis movie follows the same pattern, it should drop on Netflix in July 2026.
A third movie is set to be released in Japan, but the date remains to be announced.
