Sk8 the Infinity Extra Partis set to debut soon in Japan, and a new trailer has just been revealed. It will be screened in theaters in a few days!
Fans are eagerly waiting for Season 2, and there’s a possibility the production team will reveal more information about it when the OVA premieres in Japan, as the timing would be good (although nothing has been confirmed so far).

When Will the OVA Make Its Debut?
Extra Partwillrun in Japanese theaters for a limited timebefore the home video release. It willbe screened starting from July 01, 2025. The Blu-ray will ship on March 19.
The OVA consists of four short episodes, each one featuring a different story with different characters. The first one focuses on Reki, Langa, and Miya; the second on Shadow; the third on Joe and Cherry; and the final oneon Adamand Snake.

According toANN, the episodes are titled"Ame to Neko Conbini Ice Soda Aji,” “Maji de Maji ni Nareru Koto,” “Morning Routine,“and “Ganbare Hiromi-chan!”.
While the OVA is just 25 minutes long, the theater version contains a video compiling the first season and another one featuring the cast, so it’s 60 minutes long.
Has The International Release Been Confirmed?
So far, no international release has been confirmed. However, the first season is available on Crunchyroll, which frequently licenses this type of content. Thus, it is possible that the OVA will eventually reach overseas audiences. If that happens, it will most likely be on or after July 06, 2025.
Sk8 the Infinityfollows Reki and Langa, who unwittingly enter a perilous skateboarding race known as “S.” While Reki loves skateboarding, Langa has never done it before. Together, they wil embark on a skateboarding “rally” journey, challenging even artificial intelligence.
This is an original animation created by Studio Bones (My Hero Academia) and Hiroko Utsumi (Free! Eternal SummerandBanana Fishdirector) — because of Utsumi’s involvement,BL fanbases tend to like this series.
