Being the modern game that it is,Space Marine 2also heavily leans into the live service approach, offering players a battle pass and a string of other online features. These features continue to expand with each new update, withSpace Marine 2’s latest patch shaking up the game in numerous ways.

Firstly,Space Marine 2’s Battle Bargehas received a new expansion. Named The Datavault, players can now complete Ordeals in Campaign, Operations, and Eternal War modes to unlock a variety of rewards, including new armor parts and weapon skins. In addition, there is also a new Tech-Priest workshop in the Armory, which is where players can exchange their armory data for higher-tier versions or simply sell it.Space Marine 2’s new Extremis-tier enemy type, the Biovore, comes as part of the new update as well, and can now show up in all operations. Biovores can shoot spore mines that go off if stepped on, but also pack quite a punch at close range.
