They appeared in the first season, Episode 7 titled “VIPs.” They were portrayed as cruel and indifferent figures because they bet on the deadly games for entertainment. The VIPs' appearance in the series was criticized due to bad dialogue and over-the-top acting, making them the weakest parts of the hit South Korean survival thriller. They were noticeably missing inSquid GameSeason 2. With the recent photo, it suffices to say that the VIPs are returning in the final season.
The VIPs are essential in theSquid Gamestory and their absence in the second season is noticeable. Season 2 features Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) return to the game and gives us a glimpse of how the rebellion he started ends up for everyone. Since the plot will continue in Season 3, it’s high time for the VIPs to return because they are key figures in the story. Many were not satisfied with their acting and dialogue in Season 1. Hopefully, they will be reintroduced in the final season with better writing.
