Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobylhas variouslocations marked as points of interestthat often have something interesting for players to do. You can either get an artifact, weapon, or gear blueprint at these points of interest. There’s a location in the Cordon region called the Death Cave, where players can find all three of these. However, you’ll have to fight a Controller while you’re visiting this cave, so be ready to fight your way out of the cave after taking the loot.
How to Find the Death Cave in Stalker 2
Players can find the Death Cave POIeast of Rookie Village, located in the Cordon region ofStalker 2. The entrance to the death cave is located right at the base of the hill. Once you get inside the dimly lit cave, several gravitational anomalies are littered around the pathways. These can even damage or disorient you, so you should stock up on medkits and equip the bolt to safely traverse the cave.
Taking the Loot in Death Cave
As discussed before, the cave is pretty dark, and finding thehidden pathway leading to the lootcan be tough. Walk towards the left of the pond through the lit area. There’s a crack in the back of the cave’s wall which leads to the hidden section at the back with the loot. You’ll only be able to see the pathway if you approach it from the left side.
Once you spot the opening, head inside, and you’ll come across askeleton on a rockwith an artifact hovering over it. Here are all the rewards that you’ll find in the Death Cave.
Eliminating the Controller Mutant
Once you take the loot, a Controller mutant will spawn, preventing you from exiting the Death Cave. It’llsend PSI radiation your way, which will disorient you as well as inflict damage over time.
The first thing you should do is use aPSI-Block consumableand try to chase down the controller inside the cave. Once you’re close to it, it’s recommended to use a shotgun to quickly take it down. Once the mutant is down, you can safely exit the cave.
