Players who dare explore The Zone inStalker 2: Heart of Chornobylwill come acrosslocked-off rooms or complete sections with loothiding inside. To access said areas, players either need to find a key or a code. One of these locked-off rooms can be found in the Concrete Forest area of the Cement Factory region, which is locked in a small tower. This door requires a key that can be found nearby, but you’ll need to do a bit of climbing before getting it. Here’s how to unlock it.
How to Open the Concrete Forest Locked Door in Stalker 2
Players can find the locked door towards the west side of theConcrete Forest POI in the Cement Factory regionofStalker 2. It’s on the first floor of a building/tower that connects to a larger tower with a large metal pipe and a rusted structure. The key for this locked door is located inside the tower right next to it. Let’s check out how you may retrieve the key for this door.
Finding the Key In the Tower
If you look towards the right of the locked door, you’ll spot ahuge tower with a staircase on its sideleading to the top. Approach the staircase and climb to the top of said tower. Do be careful as there’s a glass shard anomaly field on the base of the staircase, so taking bleed damage will be inevitable.
After reaching the top of the tower, you’ll spot ahole in the groundcovered with yellow-painted wooden boards. You’ll have to break the wooden boards using a weapon or melee attack to open up the hole. It’s safe to drop through it as there’s a gravitational anomaly to break your fall, allowing you to land safely.
There’s a Poltergeist mutant here, so verify to defeat it quickly before trying to look for the key. Once the mutant is taken care of, look for thebody of a Pvt. Babychthat’s on the ground. Looting the body will allow players to retrieve the key to the Concrete Forest locked door inStalker 2.
Returning to the Concrete Forest Locked Door
Once you have the key, simply break the boards on the side of the tower to exit it. Now head back to the locked door and use the key on it to swing it open. Inside the room, you’ll find aSPSA-14 shotgun, with some ammo for it. There’s also a locker on the table which contains some other useful consumables and ammo.
