Quick Links
There are many mysteries to uncover throughout The Zone in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, with mutants, anomalies, and experiments gone awry all occupying the hazardous wasteland. Throughout the game world, players will also come across artifacts, which can besought out through the use of Detectorsand obtained either for personal use or to be sold for (usually) a fairly high price.
One of the more common artifacts, but one which players will likely be asked to retrieve, is the Horn. Like most artifacts, the Horn can show up inseveral places throughout the world, though there are specific locations you can reliably find them in too. Whether sold to a vendor or used as a personal accessory, it is well worth keeping an eye out for this valuable item, particularly in the starting regions of the game where it is most commonly found.

Where To Find A Horn Artifact
The Horn artifact will typically appear near and around acid anomalies, which can often befound in craters and highly radioactive areas. However, in The Lesser Zone, a Horn artifact can be found near the dig sit at the Eastern Checkpoint near Zalissya, free of any nearby anomalies - though enemy bandits are another story. Another reliable place to spawn the artifact is the acid pool in the northeastern corner of the Cement Factory region, which borders the Cooling Towers.
A Horn artifact can also usually be found near the cave by the village in Cordon, which is right next to The Lesser Zone. Neither of these will require players to extensively evade anomalies, which makes themsome of the easier artifacts to acquire in the game.

What To Do With A Horn Artifact
When equipped, the Horn artifact offers weak chemical protection at the cost of emitting weak radiation damage, so it is really only worth equipping when going through further acid anomalies. A far better use for this and all other common artifacts is to sell them in exchange for coupons, which can be put towards upgrading weapons, armor, and ammunition.
Most common vendors will pay a decent price for artifacts, and you will usually getbetter value from the bar ownersand general vendors than weapons specialists. The exception to this is Ragman in Rostok, who has specialist gear but will not pay a high price for common artifacts. Speaking with Boozer in Slag Heap will also often generate the Horn artifact as a possible item to recover. Doing so will reap the maximum reward of around 4,000 coupons.
