Summary
AStardew Valleyplayer has shown fellow fans what it looks like when a farm is absolutely packed full of fish ponds, containing every single fish in the game. TheStardew Valleyfarm is quite impressive to look at, especially when considering the time and effort that was put into it.
Stardew Valley’s fish pondscan be a pretty good way of making largely passive income, as the fish housed in them produce roe or other items ranging in quality and value. However, they come with a caveat: players have to actually catch the fish variety they want to populate a pond with themselves, which can make getting every fish tricky.

The time spent fishing and populating fish ponds must have been tremendous forStardew Valleyplayer and Reddit user K1Xaviesta, who shared a screenshot of their fish pond-dedicated farm. The image is quite stunning, with a zoomed-out shot of the farm revealing a whopping 73 fish ponds packed into the available space. Even more impressively, each pond is at full capacity, which means each one has ten fish, with the exception of the Legendary-variety fish, as those ponds can only hold one. The farm also has two long rows of preserves jars, which have all produced aged fish roe. In all, the player has a pond forevery fish that can be caught inStardew Valley, as well as coral and sea urchins.
Stardew Valley Players Impressed by Fish Pond Dedication
Many players have responded to K1Xaviesta’s post, commending them on their efforts to fill their farm with fish ponds like this. Some asked how long they spent putting all of this together. K1Xaviesta explained that their game is currently in year 5, and that by year 2, they had already added enough fish ponds to house all theLegendary fish inStardew Valley. They started adding the remainder on their third year. Many players speculated about the profit that could be earned from this many fish ponds. Some suggested that K1Xaviesta use animal crackers to increase production from the ponds, thus improving profit. However, the OP said that with the exception of the Legendary fish, they’d never sold any of the roe, and have already achieved Perfection, so they have no need to.
Games likeStardew Valleycan get stale if someone plays them for long enough, but the freedom afforded toStardewfans tends to keep this from happening. While a player who has achieved Perfection has technically beaten the game, there’s nothing stopping fans from continuing to play for as long as they like. Whether fans are following self-imposed challenges or use mods to keep the game fresh, the game keeps many players captivated year after year.
