Summary

Even thoughStranger Thingswill sadly be coming to an end with season 5, one character from the long-running series is taking the news a little harder than some. Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, the Netflix show has had an incredible run over the past seven years and has been a stand-out TV series for the streaming service since 2017, with viewers tuning in for 52 billion minutes in 2023.

Of course, like any beloved franchise that has been around for years, the end unfortunately has to come at some stage, and with filming already wrapped since July 19, 2025, the season is expected to premiere for its final time in late 2025. Thankfully, there areStranger Thingsspinoffs in the works, so devoted fans won’t have to say farewell to the supernatural show forever, but not every cast member will be featured. While fans know thatEleven (Millie Bobby Brown) won’t be the focus, it does leave the future of the franchise open to new and exciting talent.

Sadie Sink Reveals the Props From Stranger Things Set She Took Home

In an interview onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sadie Sink, who playsMax onStranger Things, revealed that she has struggled with saying goodbye to the series that she grew up on, admitting how emotional the process has been. However, to ease her blues, she also admitted that she has kept a few of her character’s items from the film set, which includes Max’s iconic Walkmans that she listened to her favorite Kate Bush songs on, shoes, and, an essential prop, Max’s skateboard.

“I took a lot. Well, just like the essentials, you know. I needed Max’s skateboard, which was actually gifted to me. The skateboard. I’ve got some Walkmans, some Kate Bush cassettes, some Vans and stuff. Like, every shoe that she’s (Max) worn.”

Sink said that she did need to stop collecting so many of Max’s things because her real-life house was starting to look like a shrine, but since she has been on the show from the age of 13 years old, it’s only fair that she gets to keep all the mementos that kept her company for so many years. Other cast members, which include Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, have previouslyexpressed their struggles too withStranger Thingscoming to an endand how emotionally challenging it has been for them. Season 5 ofStranger Thingsis slated to come out at some stage this year, but the Duffers brothers have expressed thatthe series might miss a 2025 release entirely.

As of right now, with no current word of an official release date,Stranger Thingsseason five will premiere on Netflix sometime (hopefully) in 2025.
