Summary
As if Lynels weren’t tough enough to beat inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomalready, a player was able to do it alongside a battalion of Cuccos.Zeldagames used to be much more linear beforeBreath of the WildandTears of the Kingdom. These two games offered players a new sense of freedom, not only because of the beautiful and dynamic open world experience they gave fans, but also due to the unique and creative moves and mechanics they introduced to the series.
Ever sinceBreath of the Wildlaunched back in 2017, gamers have been capturing awesome clips of trick-shots or innovative shenanigans that they’re able to pull off. This only got better with the release of the game’s sequel,Tears of the Kingdom, as it added even wackier mechanics that allowed fans to take their videos to the next level.Tears of the Kingdomintroduced four main abilities– Ultrahand, Fuse, Recall, and Ascend – and fans have come up with impressive ways to use them in combat, leading to the creation of completely different, yet equally as great, clips to share with the community.

Reddit user FirefighterIcy9879 was determined to get a team of Cuccos totake down a Lynel inTears of the Kingdom, and if that was enough of a milestone, they did it in style as well. This gamer approached a Lynel while holding a Cucco. As the Lynel spots Link and charges at him, the player switches to their shield and is able to dodge the attack. However, the Cucco is hit and calls out for help, unleashing an army of Cuccos upon the menacing Lynel. Meanwhile, the player uses a shield fused to a rocket to get more altitude and get a better view of the Cucco attack and calculate their landing spot. They fall on the Lynel’s back, mounting it, which allows them to slash at it with the Master Sword while the Cuccos continue to deal damage, which eventually leads to the Lynel’s death.
Tears of the Kingdom Player Uses Cuccos to Take Down Lynel
Link has suffered his fair share ofCucco attacks inZeldagamesthroughout the years. When he hits a Cucco one too many times, it will call its friends for backup and they will take down the green-clothed warrior. While this can happen inBreath of the WildandTears of the Kingdom, gamers can take advantage of this mechanic and use it against their enemies.
Even after gamers finish theTears of the Kingdommain storyline, there is plenty to do in Hyrule. There are all sorts of Fuse and Ultrahand combinations as well as special attacks and gimmicks for players to test so they can continue to create fantastic videos such as this one.
