Summary
Foxholecan feel overwhelming at first, with thousands of players battling it out over wars that can last well over a month. Most large pushes are achieved by well-drilled regiments, sometimes known as clans, with experienced players carrying out artillery operations, tank battles, and naval warfare, all backed up by extensive logistics networks.
While beginners inFoxholemay feel they can offer nothing other than to enlist as canon fodder, there are in fact a number of small and easy ways that they can make a difference to the war effort.

6Play As A Medic
Keep Soldiers At The Front & Save A Vital Resource
Playing as a medic inFoxholeis one of the most rewarding experiences as players will constantly offer their thanks and hopefully dish out Commends. It is also one of the easiest ways to help out a front, especially if there are few or no other medics. Healing soldiers and stemming their bleeding with a First Aid Kit and Bandages, allows them to keep fighting, which in turn means constant pressure is applied to the enemy.
Reviving downed soldiers with a Trauma Kit and Blood Plasma achieves the same, and means that soldiers don’t die, forcing them to wait to respawn, and then run back to the front. Additionally, each time a player spawns, they consume one Soldier Supply, often known as “shirts”. If a base runs out of these, no players can spawn there. Therefore, by saving lives, medics also prevent bases from running out of one of the most important resources.

5Scavenge Loot & Return It To Base
Equipment Is Vital & The Worst Thing Would Be For The Enemy To Take It
One thingbeginners inFoxholeshould become aware of is that every single gun, round of ammo, vehicle, or piece of equipment, was produced by fellow players, using mined resources. Bases and fronts can be lost due to a lack of ammo or basic supplies, and while logistics drivers in lorries are one solution to this, there is an easier way for new players or those with only a short amount of time.
Simply run to an active front with an empty inventory, and startpicking up equipmentfrom dead bodies. Once the inventory is full, run back to base and submit. Rinse and repeat. Not only will this keep the friendly base topped up with supplies, but it will also deny the enemy. In some cases, such as a bridge battle quite a distance from the base, it might instead be better to deposit the supplies in storage boxes at a safe distance.

4Help With Frontline Building, Repairing, & Digging
Grab A Hammer Or Shovel & Get To Work
Building inFoxholeis both complicated and simple. The proper placement and planning of large bases or complex trench lines is something that is best taught by experienced players. However, if a new player sees some blueprints placed down, they can grab a hammer and some Basic Materials, and stand there holding LMB until it’s done.
Placing single buildings such as Watchtowers and Pill Boxes, separate from any large complex is also simple. Just press B with the hammer equipped, and then find the desired building in the menu at the bottom. Place and start building. With a hammer and Bmats, players can also help repair buildings or tanks. Trenches also need to be dug, and no Bmats are required, just a shovel. The best thing to do is to look for builders and diggers, and simply help them out.

3Be A Bus Driver
Buses Get Groups Of Soldiers To The Frontline Faster
Often, when pushing, a front will extend far away from the base, meaning when players die and respawn, they have no option but to run back.A bus drivercan solve this problem. Buses can sometimes be found in public Storage Facilities or Seaports, or they can be made at Garages. Alternatively, a normal truck can be used, especially if found at the front, but it can’t seat as many passengers.
To operate as a bus driver, park outside a frontline base, with the vehicle unlocked. Honk the horn, type in chat, or use the local voice to let people know that there is a bus to the front. Once there is a decent number of soldiers onboard, drive to the front, but don’t get in range of their artillery or any guns, as a few shots and the bus will be stuck needing repairs. Keep doing this and the enemy will face constant pressure instead of killing soldiers one by one as they arrive.

2Mine Resources
Other Logistics Players Will Then Make Equipment For The War Effort
One of the easiest ways to make a big difference inFoxholeis to head to a backline hex, pick up a sledgehammer, and start mining. Look for white resource icons on the map, such as a bolt icon, which indicates Scrap, one of the most important resources. With no setup required, this is also one of the best ways to help inFoxholewhen players can only log on for a short amount of time.
Players can keep hitting away until their inventory is completely full, and then walk over to a transfer station or vehicle to deposit the Scrap. Moving on to the next stage of this process by taking them to a Refinery is optional, but not necessary as other logistics players will be more than happy to come and collect thousands of raw materials. This will substantially help the front, even if its effects aren’t felt immediately.

1Drive Supplies To The Front As Part Of Logistics
This Is One Of The Most Vital Roles
Gathering resources and making equipment is one thing, but if nobody drives them to the front, they are useless. Thankfully, this is fairly easy to do, and will also result in drivers earning loads of Commendations, which should increase their rank.
Players can either find a truck in public parking spaces, take one from Storage Facilities or Seaports, or make one in a Garage using 100 Basic Materials. They can then fill it up with fuel, and at a Storage Facility or Seaport, fill their truck with crates of equipment. Ideally, players would look at what items have been requested by frontline bases, but for beginners inFoxhole, justgetting ammo, guns, and shirts to the front is a good start. Next, drive to the base and interact with it while in the truck. RMB on one crate and choose the “Submit All” option.
