The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen came out in October 2020, over 4 years ago now. With that season came the firstJujutsu Kaisenopening, titled Kaikai Kitan.
This first opening really stuck with many fans, and recently reached a new milestone. This anime opening now has over 400 million views on YouTube, which is not an easy feat to achieve.

Kaikai Kitan is definitely one of the biggest opening songs for Jujutsu Kaisen. The song is by a Japanese artist by the name of Eve, and was released under the label of Toy’s Factory. The title, Kaikai Kitan, translates in English to Round Round Mysterious Story.
The singer had this to say about his experience with this anime opening:

There were many moments when Itadori’s life and fights made me reflect. I was thinking about how I could accompany this energetic work, and so I created the music. — Eve
Eve, the artist, read the manga through and through when producing this song to make sureto capture the essence of Yujiand the series as much as possible.
In 2021, this song was nominated during the 43rd Anime Grand Prix for the category of best theme song and actually ended up in second place, a very solid spot. It was only beaten by Zankyosanka, an opening from Demon Slayer.
