A month later, Netflix announced its second anime feature film based onThe WitcherIP, subtitledSirens of the Deep. The company has been sharing glimpses of the upcoming movie since 2023.

The video offers a fast-paced preview of the film’s events, which are an adaptation ofA Little Sacrifice, one ofThe Witchershort storiespublished inSword of Destiny, the second book in Sapkowski’s hit saga.

Sirens of the Deep Features Geralt’s Voice Actor From The Witcher Games

Fans ofCD Projekt Red’sThe Witcherfranchisemight recognize one of the voices featured prominently throughout the trailer, as American actor Doug Cockle reprises his role of Geralt of Rivia from the games in the upcoming film. British actress Anya Chalotra who portrayed Yennefer of Vengerberg in Netflix’s live-action show also plays her inSirens of the Deep. Another returning name is Joey Batey, best known as Jaskier fromThe Witchershow. Christina Wren, who played Capt. Carrie Ferris in the 2013Man of Steel, voices minstrel Essi Daven, one of the central characters inA Little Sacrificeand—consequently—Sirens of the Deep.

In addition to the newly premiered trailer, Netflix shared some previously unseen still frames from the upcoming film. The images illustrateSirens of the Deep’s clean art style, which is a result of collaboration between three production companies: Studio Mir, Platige Image, and Hivemind.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deepis scheduled to premiere on February 11, exclusively on Netflix. The animated movie likely won’t be the only piece ofThe Witchermediato reach the streaming service this year, as the fourth season of Netflix’s live-action show wrapped up filming in October 2024 and is expected to debut in the second half of 2025. Liam Hemsworth will replace Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming season. Netflix has previously announced that the live-actionThe Witchershow will conclude with Season 5.
