According to arecent Steam post from developer Poncle, aVampire Survivorsfilm is in the works with Story Kitchen, a company known for its video game adaptations for film and television. The creator explains that they are taking their time to “get things right,” something particularly difficult asVampire Survivorshas no real plot to speak of. “Nobody can really anticipate how a film about it will be,” Poncle said. “That is part of what makes it exciting.” The developer also teased that several other “cross-media” projects are in the works, with more news set to be revealed sometime in 2025.Vampire Survivorswill get less frequent updates going forward, though these will be larger, with cross-save functionality finally scheduled to be added to the roguelite in its first 2025 patch.
Vampire Survivors Getting Movie Adaptation Despite the Game Having No Plot
