To unlock Hati’s Charge, you’ll have to traverse the depths of the Crimson Forest. It’s one of themore difficult regions in the game, with warp points that teleport you to different locations. To gain the ability to break Growths, you’ll have todefeat the boss of this area, Veol, the Crazed Wolf.
Navigating the Crimson Forest can be tricky because of its interwoven design and warp points. As you keep pushing forward, you’ll eventually reach the Crimson Forest Settlement Respite. Veol will be waiting for you just beyond this room. While not the toughest boss in the game, Veol can still be a serious challenge for unprepared players, but once you learn his attack patterns, you’ll find that dodging his attacks is quite easy. Having afew damage-boosting Relicsequipped also comes in handy.
After defeating the boss, you’ll have to head into the next room, where you’ll talk to the Village Elder. After a short cutscene, Hati’s Charge ability will be unlocked.
Consider hopping over to Magicite Mine and defeating Garm, the Iron Gravedigger tounlock the ability to break floorsbefore heading into Crimson Forest.
How to Beat Veol, the Crazed Wolf in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
Veol, the Crazed Wolfis the first boss up to this point with a wide variety of attacks. Thankfully, all of his attacks are well-telegraphed, giving you plenty of opportunity to dodge through them. If you’ve got theShackled Beast’s Counter equipped, which you should for this fight, you’ll be able to deal massive damage with your counterattacks.
This boss is pretty fast compared to the others you’ve faced so far. He dashes around the arena and can dodge away from your attacks. However, since most of his attacks are close-range abilities, if you mtime your dodge correctly, you’ll find a lot of openings to deal damage.
Veol can be stance broken if you deal enough Break Damage, which makes Nola’s Vanquisher particularly useful for this fight.Yolvan’s Barrage Pressure Abilitycan also build up Break Damage quickly, and from a safe distance.

While Veol’s attack variety may seem like a challenge at first, all of his attacks are extremely easy to anticipate. The boss usually starts with a Bite attack when the fight begins. Simply dash through the attack to evade it, then land a few quick hits in return. Alternatively, if you’re good with your timing, this is an excellent opportunity to use Shackled Beast’s Counter.
For your primary attacks, Nora’s Vanquisher works best because of its exceptional Break Damage at this point in the game. As for your fourth ability, Lito seems like the obvious choice. Blazing Fist is easier to connect because of the boss’s erratic movements, but Glacial Fist can inflict the Frost status effect, which can significantly increase your damage output.
Muinn’s low damage output makes it a poor choice for this boss fight.
The boss won’t use his lightning abilities before his health drops below half. While the lightning damage isn’t too much to worry about, the attacks themselves are pretty high damage, so try your best to avoid getting hit by them.
The Summon Lightning attack can be parried using the Shackled Beast’s Counter.
Veol’s Charge Attack is by far the hardest one to counter. Since the boss moves at an extremely high speed, you’ll have to time your parry perfectly to get a counterattack in. Considering the massive damage of this attack, it’s safer to jump and dash through it rather than going for a counter.
Mostly, this fight is a battle of attrition where you’ll be dodging more than attacking. The boss’s health pool isn’t that large, and as long as you manage to avoid getting hit, you should be able to defeat Veol, the Crazed Wolf without any trouble.
Where to Go After Getting Hati’s Charge in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist
Hati’s Charge is a traversal ability inEnder Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist.While it does let you dash through enemies to farm Scraps, its uses in combat are pretty limited. However, once you unlock the ability, you’ll be able to explore parts of the map that were previously blocked off by Growths.
After obtaining the ability, you’ve got a few options regarding where to go. Magicite Mine is the obvious choice if you haven’t been there yet. From there, you’re able to head to Crystalline Mines or the Subterranean Waterway. You can also useRespites to travel quicklyto previous areas where you found Growths and break them using your newfound ability.
Eventually, you’ll encounter different forms of Growths that require different abilities to break.
