Hope you’ve been having fun in the Tycoon Racers event inMonopoly GO. It started on Feb 6 and is ending soon after four days of intense racing onFeb 10.
The Tycoon Racers eventhas many great rewards on offer. Players can race solo or team up with friends, just like in the Snow Racers event. No matter how you play, there are plenty of prizes to win. But what if two teams (or solo players) finish with the exact same rank? Who gets the higher rewards? If you’ve ever played a racing minigame before, you know that rankings can get pretty close. So it’s natural to wonder what happens when there’s a tie. In this guide, we will break it all down for you.
What Happens When Two Teams Tie in Tycoon Racers?
In Tycoon Racers, players compete in a number of races, with each race lasting a full day. At the end of the event, rewards are given out based on the points you’ve earned. The more points you have, the better your championship rewards.
Along the way,Monopoly GOplayers will also earn lap rewards, which are given to each player individually. So even if your team doesn’t finish in the top ranks, you’ll still get some rewards just for completing laps.
If two teams or solo players tie at the end of the event, both will be given the same rank, and each will receive the full rewards for that position.
For teams, the top prize includes theRed Flyer token skin, Scottie emoji, a five-star sticker pack, and a swap pack. On the other hand, solo players get a slightly smaller prize, includingthe Red Flyer token skin, Scottie emoji, a three-star sticker pack, and a two-star sticker pack.
In the first race, the team that finishes first gets 10 points, second place gets eight, third place gets seven, and the last team gets five. And just to quickly mention, the third race gives out the most points, so that’s the one you should focus on the most.
