Weapons inNieR: Automatahave a range of damage they can potentially with every swing. By upgrading the weapon, you can potentially make that spread smaller while also increasing the potential damage that will be output with each swing.
While a lot of weapons have closer spreads, the Iron Pipe by far has the highest spread in the game, but also has one of thehighest potential damage outputsin the game. This weapon can be a roll of the dice, but is at least worth finding and trying out yourself; here’s how to get it.
How To Get The Iron Pipe In NieR: Automata
The Iron Pipe is apotential item foundwhen fishingin a sewer. The first sewer is the easiest to reach, and your odds of getting the Iron Pipe are the same in both. Fast travel to the Resistance Camp and out, following the path off to the right towards the Amusement Park. After jumping over the small gap, you’ll be under a highway with the path opening up to the right with a manhole being open that can be climbed down.
While in the sewer, simply stand in the water and start fishing to try andget the Iron Pipe. There are a few other junk items that you can fish up, all of which can be sold for money. There is no trick or way to alter this process, it can take anywhere from a few casts to spending a good few minutes trying to catch it. Since it’s dark in the sewer,turn on the pod’s light to help make it clearerwhen it goes underwater to help make the catching system easier.
The other sewer can be found on yourway to the Flooded City.
Iron Pipe Stats In NieR: Automata
The Iron Pipe has avery wide range of damageno matter how many times you upgrade it. That being said, if you get lucky with your hits this weapon can have one of the highest damage outputs in the game, and can be obtained fairly early on.
