However, according to a forum post byWoWcommunity manager Kaivaxduring said extension, “unexpected issues” have delayed the launch of Plunderstorm by a little longer than anticipated. WhileWorld of Warcrafthopes to have Plunderstorm playable before January 14 is over, fans currently have no further estimation as to when that might be.

It is possible these features were the cause of these unexpected issues, so hopefully,World of Warcraftcan sort them out quickly so that fans can start plundering once again.

Luckily, the game mode’s delay has not stoppedWorld of Warcraft’s new Plunderstorm Twitch Dropsfrom being available right now. Players who watch four hours of any Twitch streamer in theWorld of Warcraftcategory before February 4 at 10 AM PST can earn the Coward’s Azure Target back transmog. The chosen content creator does not actually need to be playing Plunderstorm in order to make progress on the Drop, meaning fans are free to start earning this item while they wait forWorld of Warcraftto get the game mode up and running.
