Summary

World of Warcraftis adding a pair of new consumable potions that fans can use to adjust their character’s height up or down for a short time. While not as good as height sliders, these Noggenfogger Select elixirs inWorld of Warcraftare a cheap and easy way for players to further customize their characters.

Patch 11.1, Undermined, is currently available on the Public Test Realm, givingWorld of Warcraftfans a first look at what’s in store for them. However, there are some consumable items coming in the patch that will be huge for character customization. Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN are two new potions that, when used, make a character slightly taller or shorter, stacking up to 10 times. The potions last for 30 minutes and persist through death, making them a great way to customize one’s character during roleplaying interactions, dungeons and raids, or for screenshots. The potions can be bought from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks – the main Steemwheedle reputation hub in thenewWorld of Warcraft Patch 11.1 zone of Undermine– for just over three gold each, and are not bound or level-locked, so they can be easily traded to other characters of any level.

World of Warcraft Height-Adjustment Items in Patch 11.1

While there are other items that increase or decrease a character’s size, the Noggenfogger Select potions are much less drastic. Even at the maximum of 10 stacks, the height difference between a typical NPC is only a matter of a few inches, as seen in screenshots provided by Wowhead. Compared to the dramatic size increases of items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir, these tonics can help fans who want more subtle changes to their character’s height.

Alchemist Pestlezugg also sells Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-only potion that lets characters perform the stylish, NPC-only lean emote. Many otherplayable races inWorld of Warcrafthave a similar emote in the game files, but only Goblins have the ability to access it via this new consumable.

ManyWorld of Warcraftplayers are excited about these tonics, though most wish there was a more permanent solution to variant character height. Unfortunately, a height slider is unlikely to arrive outside another massive character customization overhaul, so in the meantime,WoWfans will have to use the Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine in their Cyrce’s Circlets, play Colossus Warriors, or stock up on Noggenfogger Select and similar consumables in order control their character’s height.
