However, in severalrecent reveals about theWorld of Warcraftupdate, Blizzard has teased a secret fifth Goblin Cartel will be involved somewhere in the patch.
Now,World of Warcraftfans have discovered who this secret group will likely be. On the PTR forWoWPatch 11.1,Wowhead discovered the Darkfuse Spy-Eye, a new mount that drops from the Darkfuse Precipitant, a rare elite with a currently unknown spawning method. Certain rares in Undermine require players associated with one of the major Cartels to summon, leading fans to surmise that the Darkfuse Precipitant may need one pledged to Darkfuse Solutions – a faction discovered via an achievement called A Long Fuse, obtained by reaching Exalted with them.
Darkfuse Solutions – Secret 5th Cartel in WoW Patch 11.1
The Darkfuse are a new group of Goblins that appeared inThe War Within. Not to be confused with the similarly-named Blackfuse who aided Garrosh duringMists of Pandaria, this private security company is working for Gallywix as mercenaries, bruisers, and enforcers. While they are featured prominently as enemies in the update, the faction’s description makes it seem players will be able to work with them at some point – likely after Gallywix is defeated in thenew Liberation of Undermine raid inWorld of WarcraftPatch 11.1.
Darkfuse Solutions did not make friends working for Gallywix, but giving up isn’t the goblin way. They’re back with a new brand, a new attitude, and hey, it was just business, right?
It remains to be seen exactly how working with Darkfuse Solutions will work. It is likely that the faction will unlock after the raid is cleared, and that fans will be able to choose them alongside the other four Cartels of Undermine factions. While unlikely, the Renown track for the faction could theoretically get a five-tier extension to accommodate the Darkfuse, turning it into a 25-rank faction likeThe Severed Threads Renown factions fromWoW: The War Within, which operates similarly via the Pact system.
